Objective: To investigate the influence and mechanism of the blood vessels of the heart and brain in the pathogenesis of Zadrip disease, in an attempt to attest to Tibetan medicine's comprehensive thinking on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of Zadrip, further focusing attention on the special relationship between the heart and the brain to explore the holistic relationship between the external symptoms and internal disease process of Zadrip disease in order to reach a comprehensive understanding of this perspective, and to lay a solid foundation for preventive measures. Methods: For this study, having clearly identified external symptoms and internal disease processes of Zadrip through documentary research and screening medical records, clinical questionnaires have been developed based on a thorough examination of Tibetan medical perspectives on inquiry, pulse, urine analysis, symptomology, medical history, etiology, pathogenesis and classification. Additionally, auxiliary Western medical diagnostic methods, and statistical analysis are used. Results: 1. Documentary Research: In summary, systematic collation of ancient Tibetan medical texts enables a clear distinction in the roles of the heart and brain. In the Tibetan medical perspective, the heart is the center of the blood vessels, moving blood through the body, while the brain is the center of the nervous system, and responsible for thinking and memory. Therefore, the existence of lesions caused by the vascular system in Zadrip disease is consistent with the overall concept in the Tibetan medical perspective.2. Clinical Research: From the statistical point of view, patients with clinical symptoms of Zadrip disease, principally the existence of brain lesions and associated symptoms also have heart-related symptoms, the two often occurring simultaneously. Zadrip disease occurrence and Tibetan medical examination, past medical history, indicate the disease is closely linked to both brain and heart, and patients with Zadrip disease also exhibit the presence of heart symptoms. Statistics show that CT results confirm the presence of brain lesions in Zadrip disease in the brain, with left and right side lesions inducing hemiparesis and hemiplegia on the opposite side. Viewed from the past history and statistical results, the heart plays a very important triggering role in the etiology of Zadrip disease. Conclusion: Traditional Tibetan medical theory and modern medicine combine to deepen the understanding of the respective roles of the heart and brain in Zadrip. Tibetan medical understanding of heart disease and cerebrovascular disease location, etiology and pathogenesis possess significance, especially heart and brain use to analyze the holistic relationship between the Zadrip disease's external symptoms and internal disease process and cardiovascular disease. Having reached a comprehensive understanding of this perspective on the heart and brain's respective role in the etiology of Zadrip disease, this knowledge can be drawn on to improve the prevention and clinical diagnosis of Zadrip disease to great benefit, improving both clinical efficacy and providing a broad space for development.
