Objective:Through investigateing the clinical observation of electroacupuncture (EA)combined with the blood-letting punture treating refractory peripheral facial paralysis, provide a simple, effective method for the treatment of refractory peripheral facial paralysis. Methods:The 60 patients met the inclusion criteria were randomly assigned into treatment group and control group, and the patients on treatment group was treated with electroacupuncture (EA)combined with the blood-letting punture method, and the control group received electroacupuncture (EA) treatment, and 30 cases of each group. Two groups of patients treated 1 times a day,and were needle for 50 minutes. They both had two courses of treatment, and four weeks for a course of treatment.Comparing House-Bracemann classification, facial paralysis disabled index of two groups before treatment, after eight courses of treatment, and the two groups' total efficiency after eight courses of treatment.Results:1.House-Bracemann classification:use wilcoxon test to compare the treatment group and the control treatment group result. The score difference was statistically significant (Z= 4.69, P= 0.03<0.05),the average score of the treatment was lower than the control group. It suggests that the treatment group method can improve intractable nerve function of facial paralysis facial, electro-acupuncture combined with blood-letting acupuncture method is superior to electroacupuncture (EA) therapy.Showing two groups of treatment before treatment are no obvious effect. After two courses of treatment, the Cohen grade of two groups are significantly decreased than before treatment(P<0.05),and showing two groups of treatment after treatment are significantly, and the treatment group is significantly lower than the control(P<0.05).It shows that the treatment group is superior to the control group.2.To compare facial paralysis disabled index:after eight courses of treatment,FDIP score of two groups are significantly improved than before treatment(P<0.05),and showing two groups after treatment are significant, and the treatment group is significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).It shows that the treatment group is superior to the control group.after twocourses of treatment,FDIs score of two groups are significantly decreased than before treatment(P<0.05),and showing two groups after treatment are significant, and the treatment group is significantly decreased than the control group(P<0.05).It shows that the treatment group is superior to the control group.3.To compare total effective:after two courses treatment, the total sfficiency of treatment group was 83.33%,control group total effective rate was 56.67%(P<0.05).The effect of the treatment group is better than of the control group.conclusion:1.The method of electroacupuncture (EA)combined with the blood-letting punture treating refractory peripheral facial paralysis has a significant curative effect. The sydrome is evidently improved.2. The method of electroacupuncture (EA)combined with the blood-letting punture has a curative effect in the treatment of refractory peripheral facial paralysis and is superior to electroacupuncture method.
