Acupoint Injection Of Medical Ozone Water Clinical Research For The Treatment Of Ankylosing Spondylitis

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ozone water in patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis,to explore the new method further more.Methods: 78 patients with AS were randomly divided into ozone water treatment group(39 cases)and drug control group(39 cases).Ozone water treatment group selected double Fengchi(GB20)? Huatuojiaji(Extra15)and sacroiliac joints,with concentration of 20ug/ml,3 ~ 5 ml/point,5 ml/place,1 times/week,12 weeks for a course.Drug control group selected sulfasalazine(W1 0.25 g,Bid;W2 0.5 g,Bid;The W3 0.75 g,Bid;W4 1 g Bid)and celebrex.(0.2 g,Bid),12 weeks for a course.Bath ankylosing spondylitis disease activity index(BASDAI)and Bath ankylosing spondylitis functional index(BASFI)were observed in pretherapy?fourth week?eighth week and twelfth week.Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate(ESR)and C-reactive protein(CRP)were checked before and after the course.Using the SPSS18.0 for statistical analysis.Measurement data use the mean ± standard deviation(?),count data use the rate.Measurement data use t test,count data use X~2 test.P < 0.05 is statistically significant difference.Results: 1.To compare the baseline in the two groups(age,gender),there are no statistical significance diffrence(P > 0.05).2.To compare the effectiveness,BASDAI and BASFI reduce in the fourth week?eighth week and twelfth week comparing with pretherapy in the ozone water treatment group and the drug control group(all P < 0.05),ESR and CRP reduce after the course(all P < 0.05).There are no statistically significant difference between the both groups on the BASDAI,BASFI,ESR and CRP(all P > 0.05).3.To compare the safety,there are 5 patients who had moderate adverse reactions in the drug control group,security level is 0,34 cases;2,5 cases).Ozone water treatment group patients did not appear harmful response,security level is 0.There are no statistical significance difference in both groups.(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Ozone water can obviously reduce disease activity,improve the function of patients condition,reduce inflammatory indexes of ESR and CRP in patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis,without toxic and side effects.Ozone water is better than oral medicine comprehensive effectiveness and safety.The ozone water is a new method to treat AS.
