Clinical Observation Of Ozone Water Acupoint Injection In The Treatment For Ankylosing Spondylitis

Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy safety of ozone water treatment of ankylosing spondylitis,to explore the new method of treatment of ankylosing spondylitis.Methods: 60 cases of ankylosing spondylitis were divided into ozone water observation group(30 cases) and medicine control group(30 cases).Ozone water observation group selected Feng Chi(GB20) 、 Da Zhui(DU14) 、 Ge Shu(BL17) 、 Shen Shu(BL23) 、Da Chang Shu(BL25)、Xiong Jia Ji(B2) and bilateral sacroiliac joints with concentration of 20ug/ml ozone water treatment. The ozone water injection amount is calculated by the 3ml/Kg, neck, chest, waist, sacroiliac joint parts injection volume dose distribution by about 1:7:4:3. Treatment 1 times per week, a total of 12 times. The drug control group oral sulfasalazine, 2 times daily, first weeks per 0.25g(1 tablets), second 0.5g(2 tablets) each week, third weeks per 0.75g(3 tablets), fourth weeks per 1g(4 tablets); celecoxib 2 times daily, 1 0.2g(1); pain Shu capsule 3 times daily, 1 1.2g(4).The observation group were treated once a week.The medicine control group take Salazosulfa Pyridine、Celebrex and San Tong Shu capsule.The two groups were totaly treated for 12 weeks. Observation of BASDAI、BASFI、spinal pain and patient evaluation function in pretherapy、fourth week、eighth week and twelfth week.And evaluate the safety of the two group before and after treatment.Results:1.To compare the effectiveness, BASDAI index, BASFI index, two groups of patients with spinal pain and overall evaluation in the treatment of fourth weeks, eighth weeks, Twelfth weeks compared with before treatment, the scores decreased significantly(P<0.05). Comparison between groups, the observation group in the ozone water treatment for fourth weeks, eighth weeks, Twelfth weeks and the drug control group at the same time, there were no significant difference between the BASDAI index, BASFI index, and the overall evaluation of patients with spinal pain(P>0.05).2.The effective rat between the ozone water observation group and drug control group were 93%and90% respectively. There was no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3.There are 3 patients had moderate adverse reactions,but the reactions ease after taking drug treatment,all 3 patients completed the trial in the drug control group. Another 8 patients had gastrointestinal discomfort, they did not handle better soon and completed the test.The 30 cases of ozone water observation group all had injection site pain and acid bilges,but the reaction was relieved in 3 days.In the security level of medicine group,19 cases were 0 grade,8 cases were 1 grade,3 cases were 2 grade.30 cases were 0 grade in ozone water group.Two groups of safety were statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:The efficacy of medical ozone water was significantly in remission of ankylosing spondylitis disease,improving the function of activity and the quality of life in patients and reducing spinal pain.The medical ozone water had no obvious toxic side effect.Ozone water treatment is better than oral medicine comprehensive efficacy and safety.The medical ozone water is a new method to treat AS.
