Object:To observe clinical effects of electroacupuncture in bilateral parietotemporal region treated on partial limb numbness in Cerebrovascular Diseases by comparing with the routine acupuncture, and also to optimize scheme for the treatment of these diseases, and to promote quality improvement of survival in patients with cerebral apoplexy.Methods:Sixty-four patients who suffered from Partial limb numbness in Cerebrovascular Diseases, and selected according to the diagnostic criteria of stroke patients and randomly divided into two groups according to random number table method. On the one hand, the control group was administered by shi's Xingnao kaiqiao acupuncture and DU-26, LU-5, HT-1, PC-6(bilaterally side), BL-40,SP-6 points were mainly used. On the other hand the study group was administered by Jiao's scalp acupuncture combined with body acupuncture and Jiao's bilateral parietotemporal region(the prior 1/5 and middle 2/5 areas)points and electroacupuncture method were mainly used. While the two groups were used of the same body acupuncture methods. The acupuncture basic treatment all used the same routine medicine and recovery therapy. Two groups of patients were treatment 6 days in a row,28 days for a period of treatment. After one course of treatment to assess the curative effect,we adopted Fugl-Meyer Sensation scale,Barthel Index and recorded the improvements on partial limb numbness to evaluate the efficacy of different therapies. Results:Therapeutic effect in patients with partial limb numbness in cerebral apoplexy was obtained in both groups. After treatment, patients with the scores of Fugl-Meyer sensory function,BI and the records on partial limb numbness between the two groups had significant differences(P<0.05). However,in terms of improving the sensory function, the study group is superior to the control group, and that there was a very significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both Jiao's scalp acupuncture with body acupuncture therapy and shi's Xingnao kaiqiao acupuncture therapy have a marked therapeutic effect in patients who suffered from partial limb numbness in Cerebrovascular Diseases.2.The electroacupuncture in bilateral parietotemporal region has more advantage in improving the sensory function for partial limb numbness in Cerebrovascular Diseases, compared to routine acupuncture group.3.The electroacupuncture in bilateral parietotemporal region has obvious curative effect on improving the points of sensory function and motor function in the FMML scale and the ability of daily life. In addition,it is superior to the ordinary acupuncture group.
