Objective:application of removing the kidney and heart, to tutor experience side flavored GuiGan dragon negundo soup treating patients with insomnia and observe its clinical curative effect, in order to verify the feasibility of kidney Yang deficiency in the treatment of insomnia from the heart, to explore the mechanism of heart kidney Yang deficiency lead to insomnia, excavation of traditional Chinese medicine new ideas and methods for the treatment of insomnia.Iethods:GO patients were chosen according to inclusive criteria and divided randomly into treatment group and control group. The treatment group was given jiaweiguiganlongmutang decoction, while the control group took 1 Alprazolam Tablets one times a day. Four-week is designated as a course of treatment. Then to evaluate the clinical effect and test the integral change of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and the Quality of Life Assessment Scale.Results:The total effective rate is 86.67% in treatment group and 60.00% in control group and the statistical analysis showed that clinical total effective of the treatment group was better than the control group (P=0.001<0.01). Meanwhile the treatment group can improve clinical signs and symptoms, and also with the integral change of TOM Syndrome, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and the Quality of Life Assessment Scale.Conclusion:The jiaweiguiganlongmutang decoction with the effect of warming and invigorating heart and kidney can improve the clinical symptoms effectually and the capacity of daily life and social behavior, also with the ability of psychological and social adaptation. The method of warming and invigorating heart and kidney has evident effects in curing insomnia.
