The Syndrome Distribution Research Based On Hypertension With Carotid Atherosclerosis Syndrome Elements Diagnosis Scale

Objective:Explore the syndrome distribution based on hypertension with carotid atherosclerosis( CAS) syndrome elements diagnosis scale, in order to guide the development of clinical treatment strategies.Methods:Collect patients information,risk factors,clinical symptoms,syndrome elements founded circumstances through the scale. To verify the reliability and validity of the scale by using multivariate statistical methods and explore the syndrome distribution.Results:Overall reliability of the scale is 0.844,Cronbach ? coefficients of each dimension were between 0.6 to 0.85. The variables contained in the factors was substantially concentrated in other dimensions except the spleen and blood stasis,the measurement results are consistent with the original design idea for the scale. Hypertension with CAS often occurs in the elderly, men age earlier than females.The most common syndrome element is sputum in the men and the females,followed by fiery,blood stasis, Yang Kang,deficiency, liver, kidney, spleen in the men,and followed by liver, deficiency, blood stasis, fiery, kidney, Yang Kang,spleen. Greater impact of smoking on fiery, phlegm, blood stasis.Phlegm,blood stasis,fiery,liver have more affection on plaque area.In the founded syndrome cases, three kinds of syndrome elements combination is the most common situation, followed by four syndrome elements, two syndrome elements, five syndrome elements combination. The syndrome elements of disease location is more than the elements of disease resistance.Conclusion: The reliability and validity of the scales were satisfactory, Compliance with statistical requirements, could be widely used in clinical. Five basic structure of the syndrome element combination include phlegm+ fiery, blood stasis+ fiery, fiery+ deficiency, phlegm+blood stasis, blood stasis+deficiency. These five are also common basic syndromes in hypertension with CAS.
