Objective: The aim of this project is to investigate cervical rotational positioning method combined with blade needle lysis in the treatment of cervicogenic headache, provides a more reasonable and effective treatment for clinical treatment of cervical headache, and provides the basis of the theory and practice in clinical application that massage combined with blade needle cures cervicogenic headache. Methods: In this research, a total of 60 eligible patients with cervicogenic headache were admitted to observe the analgesic efficacy. All subjects were randomly assigned to two groups, 30 cases as treatment group and 30 cases as controlled group, treatment group receives positioning and rotatory manipulation combined with blade needle, controlled group receives positioning and rotatory manipulation.6 times for a period of treatment, the next day at a time, a total of two period of treatment. Pain of two groups were observed before and after treatment and evaluated quantitatively using the pain visual analog score(VAS). Meanwhile, the development and changes of disease of patients were also observed. Data analysis and statistics were all finished by using the SPSS17.0 software. Results: Through two courses of treatment,The visual analog pain score of two groups of patients were decreased greatly, positioning and rotatorymanipulation combined with blade needle group achieved very good analgesic effect with the total effective rate of being 96.67%,while the effect rate of the positioning and rotatory manipulation group was 83.33%.According to statistic analysis, VAS score after treatment in both groups compared with before treatment is significantly different(P < 0.05).VAS score after treatment in both groups have significant difference in comparison between groups(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Cervical rotational positioning method combined with blade needle lysis can relieve or even cure cervicogenic headache and can effectively ameliorate the manifestations of those patients. Good curative effect, less pain, and satisfactory acceptability make the treatment method deserve popularizing.
