Clinical Research Of The Constitution-consolidating And Meridian-unblocking Acupuncture Therapy On The Lumbar Disc Herniation Patient

Objective:This study focus on the clinical effect of the Constitution-consolidating and Meridian-unblocking Acupuncture Therapy,setting the normal dredging-meridia n acupuncture therapy as the control group.The clinical effect of the two groups w ere compared with outcomes measures, such as the JOA low back pain score, VAS pai n score and the designing clinical effect evaluating standards,to provide a new met hod for promoting the curative effect of lumbar disc herniation.Method:46 patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into the observat ion group and the control group. The control group only chose the acupoints of Dachang shu(BL 25), Guanyuanshu(BL 26), Zhibian(BL 54), Weizhong(BL40), Yanglingqua n(GB 34), Kunlun(BL 60), Baihui(DU 20).The observation group used Guanyuan(R N 4),Zusanli(ST 36),Taichong(LR 3) added to the acupoints used by the control gr oup. Among these points,Guanyuan(RN 4) and Zusanli(ST 36) were practiced w ith the twirling reinforcing needling method,and the others with even reinforcing-r educing method,The needles were retained for 20 mins respectively for the supine position and the prone position.The JOA low back pain scores and VAS pain scores were recorded before and after the treatment,and were analyzed with statistical ap proach.Result: As for the clinical effect,the curative rate and the effective rate of the treatment group respectively were 91% and 96%, while the control group were 70% and 87%, the treatment group was better than the control group,there was a significance difference between the two group(P<0.05) the JOA low back pain score and VAS pain score,there were no significant difference bet ween the two groups before the treatment There was a significant difference within the groups before and after the treatment(P<0.05),both methods were effective.There is a significant difference between the two groups after the treatment(P<0.05),the effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion: The Constitution-consolidating and Meridian-unblocking Acupuncture Therapy can improve the relative symptoms of lumbocrural pain and dysfunction of lumbar disc herniation patients.It worked better than the normal dredging-meridian treatment.and deserves popularizing in clinical practice.
