Objective:To observe the efficacy of Blood-letting Puncture and Cupping and Qingre Zhitong decoction in the treatment of herpes zoster.Method: 60 cases of herpes zoster in patients Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TCM, who dialectic was the liver swelter and met the inclusion criteria.Divided them into treatment group and control group randomly, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with Blood-letting Puncture and Cupping and Qingre Zhitong decotion, the control group was treated with Longdanxiegan soft capsule, while patients in both groups treated with acyclovir anti-viral and Fufanghuangbai liquid therapy. Course nine days, the two groups were observed and recorded cases of pain, herpes, the herpes symptoms and signs of an integrated and comprehensive determination of its efficacy. The incidence of PHN patients with follow-up through records.Results:At the analgesic time and complete resolution time,the treatment group was shorter than the control group.The Blood-letting Puncture and Cupping and Qingre Zhitong decoction therapy could speed up the absorption of herpes subsided, shorten the course.The curative rate was 56.7% in the treatment group and 30.0% in the control group,there were significant differences between the two groups.The occurrence rate of postherpetic neuralgia was 6.67% in the treatment group and 33.33% in the control group,the prognosis of treatment group was better than control group.Conclusion:The treatment with Blood-letting Puncture and Cupping and Qingre Zhitong decoction in liver swelter type of HZ is safe,effective and can be applied widely.
