| Objective:By observing the clinical effect of abdominal acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture & cupping and body acupuncture combined with peripheral acupuncture on spleen dampness herpes zoster,to explore the feasibility of abdominal acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture & cupping in the treatment of spleen dampness herpes zoster. Methods: A total of 60 patients were enrolled according to the diagnostic criteria of Chinese and Western medicine and the diagnostic criteria of Chinese medical evidence developed in this study. The patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with abdominal acupuncture and acupuncture blood-letting puncture & cupping, the control group was treated by body acupuncture with peripheral acupuncture method, once a day for 10 times. The clinical symptoms and signs of the patients were observed before and after treatment in both groups, and the overall efficacy was evaluated by combining the herpes condition score, quantitative score of symptoms and signs,VAS score, and clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine, and follow-up was conducted on the Day 30,Day 60 and Day 90 of the trial and to observe the occurrence of postherpetic neuralgia.Results:(1)In terms of basic conditions:60 cases were included,58 cases were actually completed,2 cases were shed(out of hospitalization),and the final statistics were completed for 58 cases. There were 30 cases in the treatment group and 28 cases in the control group. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of basic information and clinical data before treatment(P>0.05),and the groups were comparable.(2)Herpes condition score:There was a significant difference in the time to stop herpes, time to crust and time to debridement between the two groups(P<0.01).The treatment group was better than the control group.(3)Quantification of symptoms and signs:Both the treatment group and the control group were able to improve the above clinical symptoms in patients after treatment(P<0.01);the difference between the two groups was t=2.904(P<0.05),it can be concluded that the treatment group was better than the control group.(4)In terms of VAS scores:Both methods resulted in a significant reduction in VAS pain scores before and after treatment(P<0.01),the difference between the two groups was t=3.146(P<0.05),it can be concluded that the treatment group was better than the control group.(5)As for the occurrence of PHN:the difference was not statistically significant(P<0.05),i.e.the difference between the two groups was not significant.(6)Clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine:the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.7%;and the total effective rate of the control group was 89.2%.The comparison of the clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine between the two groups was tested,Z=3.77(P<0.05)with statistical difference. Conclusion: The efficacy of abdominal acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture & cupping in treating spleen dampness herpes zoster is clear. The overall efficiency is better than that of body acupuncture combined with percutaneous acupuncture method. It can significantly improve patients’ clinical symptoms and signs, reduce patients’ pain, stop further increase of herpes more quickly, accelerate crusting and peeling of lesions. The difference in the prevention of postherpetic neuralgia between the abdominal acupuncture method and the body acupuncture method was not significant. Therefore, the use of abdominal acupuncture combined with blood-letting puncture & cupping method is of high clinical value in the treatment of spleen dampness herpes zoster, and is worth promoting. |
