Objective:(1)Depression is a kind of common emotional disorders. Objective evaluation of depressive emotion researched by the medical profession of domestic andforeign for many years but has not been solved. Inspection of eye spirit can read the inner emotions and emotional experience. Saccadic eye movement is a key factor in the eyes expression. Modern research showed that abnormal eye movements are the main eye features of depression patients with depressive emotion. Therefore, our research will adopt SMI eye movement tracking system, record the prosaccade and antisaccade data in the depression patients of liver-qi depression syndrome which aims to provide a new method for the objective evaluation of the depression's depressive emotion.(2) Traditional Chinese medicine believes that depression of liver-qi depressions closely related to liver dysfunction,qi depression and emotional disorders, but the specific pathological mechanisms and scientific connotation are unclear. Conduct the eye movement of the depression of liver-qi depression syndrome patients may partly explain the central mechanisms, and provide a new method for the mechanism of liver governing dredging and regulating emotions, provide basic data for visceral manifestation of the liver function mechanism and structure. Methods: A total of two subjects, the depression group include 36 liver-qi depression syndrome patients screening by Shandong Mental Health Center's doctors, and the control group with 36 normal persons.Use SMI RED 500 eye movement instrument and anti eye movement experiment paradigm to record and analyze the prosaccade and antisaccade data of two groups.Results:(1)In the prosaccade task, there was no significant differences between depression and control group. Overall, position main effect between the two groups on the peak velocity, average velocity and amplitude were significant(F=81.72,P<0.0001)(F=32.83,P=0.000)(F = 24.23,P<0.0001).With the increase of the angle, the depression group and the control group showed faster peak velocity, average velocity and amplitude.(2)In the antisaccade task, the correct rate of control group and depression group have significant differences(t=3.219,P=0.002), position main effect of average velocity and saccade amplitude was significant(F=3.399,P=0.0365). There was no significant difference in other indexes.(3) In the analysis of Anti effect, latent period and accuracy direction main effect of two groups were significantly different(F=67.44,P<0.0001)(F=79.02,P<0.0001). Compared with the positive saccade, two groups were exhibited longer latency and worse accuracy in the antisaccade. Conclusion: Research found that the suppression function in patients with depression of liver-qi depression syndrome was significantly worse than normal, so saccade task can be a good tool to objective evaluation of depression suppression function. The central mechanisms of depression of liver-qi depression syndrome patients caused by the abnormal of liver dredging may be partly explained from the related brain regions, and this research provided a new method for the mechanism of liver governing dredging and regulating emotions and basic data for visceral manifestation of the liver function mechanism and structure.
