| Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Ziyin Liyan Decoction in treating Chronic pharyngitis of fire excess from Yin deficiency, and to further explore the therapeutic mechanism of Ziyin Liyan decoction. To explore the theoretical basis of TCM treatment of chronic pharyngitis and the clinical diagnosis and treatment of the disease, in order to provide ideas to develop other effective new prescriptions and lay the foundation for the development of Chinese patent drug for chronic pharyngitis.Methods:64 eligible cases of chronic pharyngitis were collected in Gan Zuwang medical studio from May 2015 to January 2016, which were divided into two groups randomly.32 patients in treatment group treated with Ziyin Liyan Decoction, when 32 patients in control group treated with Xuanmaiganjie granule. The patients were treated for 7 days as a course,two courses of continuous treatment were conducted.Clinical symptoms, signs, and TCM syndrome of fire excess from Yin deficiency were recorded before treatment,7,14 and 21 days after treatment respectively, as well as adverse reactions.Results:Statistic analysis showed that both group were effective in the treatment of chronic pharyngitis. The total effective rate of the treatment group was:96.77%,15 cases were cured, 13 cases were markedly effective,2cases were effective, and 1 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate of control group was:86.67%,22 cases were cured,10 cases were markedly effective,14 cases were effective, and 4 cases were ineffective. There were no adverse events in the two groups during the treatment.Conclusion:The Ziyin Liyan Decoction is significant effect for treating chronic pharyngitis of fire excess from Yin deficiency, which can improve the symptoms of throat discomfort, signs and symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine. Moreover, it is proved that Ziyin Liyan Decoction is safe for treating chronic pharyngitis of fire excess from Yin deficiency. |
