Objective: With the improvement of diagnostic level of cervical cancer, more early cervical cancer patients were diagnosed.Surgery and radiotherapy are the most effective treatment for patients with early stage of cervical cancer, that has achieved a certain effect. But some patients still have a recurrence at different stages of the disease,so it is very important to explore the causes of recurrence after operation, and it is instructive to the individualized comprehensive treatment for postoperative patients. Methods: 97 early?b~?a stage cervical cancer patients were retrospectively analyzed in our hospital from January 2010 to January 2013,all patients were all treated with radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection, there were complete pathological diagnosis after operation. They were all treated by radiotherapy after surgery, radiotherapy methods were three dimensional conformal radiotherapy combined with intracavitary irradiation.Among them,45 patients were treated with concurrent cisplatin chemotherapy during radiotherapy, the other 52 patients were treated with radiotherapy alone. They were followed up for 3 years after the operation,33 cases had recurrence and 64 cases did not recur, this paper discussed the relationship between postoperative recurrence and clinical related factors. Results: Single factor analysis of early cervical cancer postoperative recurrence showed, there were statistical significance on clinical stage, pathological type, vaginal cutting margins, vascular invasion, lymph node metastasis, the depth of invasion and concurrent chemotherapy radiotherapy(P<0.05).Multiple factors analysis of recurrence showed: there were statistical significance on vaginal cutting margins, lymph node metastasis(P<0.5).Recurrences in the pelvic cavity accounted for 75.8% of total recurrences, vaginal stump recurrences accounted for 33.3%,distant metastasis was 39.4%.Conclusions: This study showed that clinical stage, pathological type, vaginal cutting margin, vascular invasion, lymph node metastasis, the depth of invasion and concurrent chemotherapy were related factors of early cervical cancer recurrence after surgery.Vaginal cutting margin and lymph node metastasis were the independent effective factors.Pelvic cavity was the main sites of postoperative recurrence, vaginal stump recurrences were the main type of pelvic recurrences.
