Objective In this study we use dry needle of inner heating treating on Lumbar disc Herniation, evaluating the impact of post-traumatic on skin and blood-related indicators caused by dry needle of inner heating.Observing the vital signs changes between the general population and hypertension patients. Comprehensive evaluate the safety of dry needle of inner heating treating on Lumbar disc Herniation, lay the foundation for clinical standardization to carry out this treatment.Methods(1)Clinical data about 107 patients (34 years old to 78 years old) with Lumbar disc herniation admitted to rehabilitation department of Chinese PLA General Hospital from February 2015 to December 2015 were enrolled.(2)Dry needle of inner heating:determining the position of the spinous process, the level L4-L5 spinous process to both sides of the two rows, taken from the spinous process 2cm (lamina),3cm (lamina transverse junction),4cm (transverse) set the needle points to choose the specifications of 1.1 mm×10cm needle of heat treatment, pin number 10, pitch 1.0-2.0cm, heated to 42 degrees, treatment 20min.(3)Observing the effect of dry needle of inner heating on the skin and vital signs, Monitoring blood-related indicators changes before and after treatment. Simultaneously, according to whether complicated with hypertension disease were divided into two groups, hypertension group 48 cases, non-hypertensive group 59 cases, comparing the fluctuations of blood pressure and heart rate during the treatment between two groups.(4)Statistical analysis:SPSS 17.0 statistical software for data analysis, measurement data with x±s, homogeneity of variance t test, variance arrhythmia by rank sum test, count data using chi-square test, with p<0.05 was considered statistically significance.Results(1)In this study,17.76% mild AEs were reported in the treatments with dry needle of inner heating treating on Lumbar disc Herniation. No significant AEs were reported. Common AEs included bruising(5.6%),bleeding(2.8%),swelling(2.8%),Fatigue (3.7%), thirst (2.8%).(2)The impact on blood-related indicators:Hemoglobin, Red blood cells, Hematocrit, White blood cells, Platelets showed no significant difference before and after treatment(p>0.05); creatine kinase and lactate dehydrogenase showed no significant difference before and after treatment(p> 0.05); alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, creatinine, BUN showed no significant difference before and after treatment either(p>0.05).(3)The impact on related vital signs:All patients completed treatment successfully without obvious discomfort and cardiovascular accident,a transient increase in the process of anesthesia and acupuncture may appear, but they are within the controllable range, generally after (10-20) min will recovery to pre-treatment state.Systolic and diastolic blood pressure difference was statistically significant(p< 0.05),Heart rate shows no significant difference between two groups(p>0.05). Increased extent turns out to be no significant difference between two groups(p>0.05). The incidence of blood pressure and heart rate rises above a base value of 20% during treatment were no significant difference(p>0.05).Conclusion(1)Dry needle of inner heating treating on Lumbar disc Herniation showed Less damage to the skin, blood viscosity, muscle enzyme, liver enzymes and no significant effect on vital signs, Therefore,it is a safe method of treatment.(2)low incidence of adverse events were reported. Individual may appear mild skin congestion, swelling, bleeding and other phenomena after treatment, but generally do not need special treatment can relieve itself.(3)The tolerance of the two groups accept treatment equals, but considering the relatively high baseline blood pressure in patients with hypertension and the large variability, so for such patients should be under relatively stable condition when receive treatment.(4)Improve safety measures:Before treatment stopped anticoagulation, antiplatelet therapy; ECG monitoring closely during treatment; complete the ambulance first aid items and medication; compression time be extended or topical application to promote skin healing and prevent infection if needed after treatment.
