Study On Tongue Parameters Of Postmenopausal Osteoporosis With Kidney Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome And Intervention Of Qing'e Pill

Objective:To investigate the tongue parameters of postmenopausal osteoporosis patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome and the intervention of Qing'e pill.In order to provide an objective basis for the establishment of the therapeutic system with characteristics of traditional Chinese Medicine.Methods: 48 cases of postmenopausal osteoporosis patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome who were diagnosed in the Union Hospital,Tongji Medical College,Huazhong University of Science and Technology between September 2014 and December2014 were divided into treatment group and control group randomly and egually. Two groups were treated with calcium as basic treatment, treatment group was treated with Qing'e pill while control group was treated with simulation medicinal preparation of Qing'e pill.The treatment lasted for 24 weeks. Two groups of tongueparameters including old and young index,fat index,Tooth-Mark index,prick index,crack index,ecchymosis index,thickness index,dryness index,rot greasy index and exfoliative fur index were detected and compared at baseline and after treatment for 24 weeks.Two groups of efficacy evaluation indicators including main clinical symptom score, VAS score, TCM syndrome score, bone metabolic markers and bone mineral density were detected and compared at baseline and after treatment for 24 weeks.Two groups of safety evaluation indicators including height,weight,temperature,respiration,heart rate,blood pressure,blood routine,urine routine,stool routine,liver function, renal function,electrocardiogram were detected and compared at baseline,8,16 and24 weeks after the start of treatment.Two groups of safety evaluation indicators including sex hormone levels, breast B ultrasound,uterine B ultrasound,thoracic and lumbar X-ray. Recording adverse events at any time.Conclusion: Qing'e pill can reduce tongue fat index,Tooth-Mark and ecchymosis index significantly(P<0.05).It also can reduce back pain VAS score, clinical symptoms score and TCM syndrome total score significantly(P<0.05).It can improve the symptoms of low back pain and soreness of waist and knee significantly(P<0.05). In addition, itcan reduce the ?-CTX level.However,there was no statistically significant difference on the improvement of weakness in limbs,gaiting difficulty and innitus symptoms(P>0.05).There was no significant effect on tongue old and young index,prick index,crack index,thickness index,dryness index,rot greasy index and exfoliative fur index(P>0.05).There was no significant increase in BMD of lumbar spine L2-L4 and femoral neck(P > 0.05).In the control group, there was a significant decrease in BMD of the lumbar spine L2-L4 and femoral neck compared with the baseline, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The total effective rate was 75%.Conclusion: Qing'e pill in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome can reduce the tongue fat index,tooth mark index and ecchymosis index significantly.On the other hand,it can improve symptoms of low back pain and the soreness of waist and knee significantly. It also can reduce ?-CTX levels significantly.
