Ultrasound Guided Radiofrequency Treatment Of Intercostals Neuralgia After Herpes Zoster

Objective:The effect and complications were analyzed, observed by ultrasound guided and by the non-visual radiofrrequency treatment of intercostals neuralgia after herpes zoster.Methods:In February 2014 to February 2015, the selection of intercostals neuralgia after herpes zoster patients 40 people from binzhou medical school affiliated hospital the pain department, will be randomly divided into the non-visual group(the control group) and ultrasound guided group(the ultrasound group). The control group by adopting the method of blind of intercostals nerve radiofrequency treatment.The ultrasound group by adopting the method of the ultrasound guided intercostals nerve radiofrequency treatment. Both groups using the Visual Analogue Scale method (Visual Analogue Scale, VAS) for postoperative patients to analyze the effect and complications with instant,1 day,3 days,1 week and 1 month after treatment. All data were used t test and X2 test statistic method, the results were analysis by SPSS 17.0 statistics.Results:Control group and the ultrasound group VAS score before treatment had no statistics significance (P>0.05);Contrasted the VAS score of the times before treatment,the control group with instantly after treated?1days after treated?3 days after treated? a week after treated,and of a month after treated in treatment group, had statistics significance (P<0.05);Contrasted the VAS score of the times before treatment,the ultrasound group with instantly after treated?1days after treated?3 days after treated?a week after treated,and of a month after treated in treatment group, had statistics significance (P<0.05);Contrasted the VAS score of two groups in instantly after treated, the times with 1days after treated,3 days after treated,and a week after treated,and a month after treated in two groups, they all had statistics significance (P<0.05); Pneumothorax was 5% incidence in the control group, and the ultrasound group was 0%;local skin numbness was 85% incidence in the control group, and the ultrasound group was 100%; Pneumothorax was complete remission in 1 weeks. Found no long-term complications in 1 month after discharge follow-up.Two groups of patients with complications analysis in instantly after treated, the times with 1days after treated,3 days after treated, and a week after treated, and a month after treated in two groups, they all had statistics significance (P<0.05)Conclusion:The ultrasound group had more exactly curative effect and more durable than the control group, less incidence of pneumothorax.
