Purpose: Observation the curative effect of acupuncture in treatment of vestibular migraine(vertigo-the wind yang interference type)and western medicine treatment, preliminary validation clinical curative effect and security of the acupuncture in treatment of vestibular migraine(vertigo-the wind yang interference type),provide a new way to treat vestibular migraine(vertigo-the wind yang interference type)and guide the clinical practice.Method: This study applies method of random Numbers table would be consistent with the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,72 cases of vestibular migraine(vertigo-the wind yang interference type)patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.36 cases treatment group and given acupuncture treatment;Control group 36 cases, give oral Betahistine mesilate Tablets treatment. Both groups were all observed the before and after treatment of TCM syndrome scale score changes, vertigo disorder scale score changes and health status rating scale to assess the efficacy and safety.Follow-up of 3 months after treatment,Observe two groups of dizziness relapse situation.Result:1.Clinical into the group of patients 72 cases(treatment group 36 cases, fall off 1 case;control group 36 cases, fall off in 2 cases),compared the baseline data(age, sex and TCM syndrome scale score, vertigo disorder rating scale, health scale score, etc.),and two groups of comparable(P > 0.05).2.The total effective rate between the two groups, treatment group total effective rate was80.00%,control group total effective rate was 76.47%.Total effective rate between the two groups had statistical significance(P < 0.05),the treatment group and control group total effective rate is similar.3.Before and after treatment, two groups of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scale score had improved, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);After treatment,TCM syndrome scale score comparison between the two groups had statistical significance(P< 0.05),the treatment group is better than the control group.4.Before and after treatment, two groups of vertigo disorder scale score has improved, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);After treatment, vertigo disorder scale score comparison between the two groups had no statistical significance(P > 0.05),treatment group and control group of similar vertigo disorder rating scale.5.Before and after treatment, two groups of health scale score has improved, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);After treatment, health rating scale to compare between the two groups had no statistical significance(P > 0.05),treatment group and control group is similar to the health of the rating scale.6.Follow-up after 3 months, two groups of patients with vertigo attack frequency, duration of comparative differences between groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05),treatment group curative effect is better than the control group. Conclusion: The acupuncture in treatment of vestibular migraine(vertigo-the wind yang interference type)and oral betahistine mesylate tablets total curative effect was similar, but in terms of improving syndromes of acupuncture treatment is better than that of Betahistine mesilate Tablets, and can reduce the recurrence of vertigo, shorten the duration of recurrent vertigo, the long-term curative effect is better, worthy of clinical promotion.
