Application Value Of Tei Index In Patients With Acute Myocardial Infarction

?Background?Acute myocardial infarction(AMI)is the most dangerous and seriou s condition in coronary heart disease.Many patients with acute myocardial infarcti on went to hospital complicated with cardiac dysfunction.Early evaluation of cardi ac function and symptomatic therapy have important significance for the prognosis of patients with acute myocardial infarction.Currently,there are many clinical index es to evaluate cardiac function,for example,the left ventricular ejection fraction(L VEF),E/A ratio and the brain natriuretic peptide(BNP).The Tei index is a ne wdoppler echocardiographic index for assessment of the ventricular function,whatev er systolic or diastolic function.This article introduces Tei index to evaluate cardiac function in patients with acute myocardial infarction,and compares its correlation with the other clinical commonly used indicators.?Objective? To determine the value of Tei index in the evaluation of cardiac function in patients with acute myocardial infarction.?Methods?In the first affiliated hospital of Dalian Medical University,patients diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction arriving at hosiptal from December 1,2014 to December1,2015 were enrolled in this study.male 74 cases,the average age was 61.8 + /-11.11 years old,female 62,the average age was 66.9 + /-13.15 years.The blood samples of all the patients were separately collected immediately to measure the plasma BNP levels,and the patients were examined by professional heart ultrasound doctors using GE Vivid 7 ultrasonic diagnostic instrument to recorded left ventricular diameter,LVEF,E/A ratio and Tei index.Then,we use statistical methods to analysis the correlation between Tei index and left ventricular diameter,LVEF,E/A ratio and the BNP.?Results?To analyse the correlation between Tei index and left ventricular diameter.we can find Tei index has significant positive correlation with left ventricular diameter,p<0.001,r=0.339;To analyse the correlation between Tei index and LVEF,we can conclude that Tei index has significant negative correlation with LVEF,the correlation is statistically significant,p<0.001,r=-0.468;To analyse the correlation between Tei index and E/A ratio,as a result,the correlation has no statistical significance,p=0.060;To study the correlation between Tei index and BNP,it is proved that Tei index is positively associated with BNP,The correlation is statistically significant,p<0.001,r=0.379.?Conclusion? 1.Tei index and left ventricular diameter is significantly positive correlation,and Tei index has significant negative correlation with LVEF.it is concluded that Tei index has the same function to evaluate left ventricular remodeling and the left ventricular systolic function in patients with acute myocardial infarction.2.there is no clear correlation between Tei index and E/A ratio,it is concluded that Tei index is limited to evaluate the left ventricular diastolic function in patients with acute myocardial infarction.3.Tei index has positive correlation with the BNP.
