The Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Perimenopausal Hot Flashes Symptom By Electroacupuncture With Different Frequency

Objective:To observe the influences of E2?FSH?LH,as well as changes in the average 24 hours hot flashes Points?MRS?MENQOL of PMS patients mainly bothered by hot flashes with the therapy oflow-frequency and high-frequency electro-acupuncture(EA)and to clarify the effect of different electroacupuncture frequency alleviating menopausal symptoms in hot flashes.To evaluate the relationship between the treatment effects of HF patients of PMS and the different frequency of EA.And discuss the curative therapeutic evaluation and objective mechanisms of different frequency of EA.Methods:The research objects focus on the patients with PMS from the department of Acupuncture in Hubei hospital of TCM.60 cases were divided into low-frequency and high-frequency EA groups, and each group has 30 cases.Both groups put acusector of Hua Tuo SDZ-V brand on the basis of acupuncture. First we should find the points: guan yuan point, zi gong point(both sides),san yin jiao point(both sides). And then set the stimulation parameters:the frequency of the low-frequency group is 2Hz,and the other is 100 Hz. The current intensity is the maximum degree that apatient can tolerate.Both groups received treatment three timesa week(30min every time)for eight weeks.At the time of the weekbefore the treatment and the 8th week,E2,FSH?LH and hot flashesrecord?MRS?MENQOL were adopted for evaluation of effectiveness.Results:After 8 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate oflow-frequency group was 96.67%,the total effective rate of high-frequency group was 73.33%;the differences of hot flashes record,MRS and MENQOL before and after the treatment of the two groups have great statistical significance(P<0.05). Moreover, the curative effect of low-frequency group is much better than high-frequency group.After the treatment of the two groups, the level of E2 increased significantly(P<0.05),while the FSH and LH were significantly lower(P<0.05). But after the treatment,the level changes of E2, FSH, LH of two groups have no statistical significance.(P>0.05).Conclusion:The different frequency EA groups both have effectson the treatment of PMS,but the low-frequency group has better clinical curative effect on the improvement of the HF symptoms.
