The Clinical Observation Of Treat Chronic Atrophic Gastritis By Yangyin Hewei Huayu Decoction

Objective:The aim of this work is to analyze and evaluate the effect of Yangyin Hewei Huayu Decoction on Chronic Atrophic Gastritis(CAG),and to explore the mechanism of CAG treatment in terms of both modern medicine and traditional Chinese medicine theory.Methods:The patients in this study were selected from the Hubei Province hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.those who were all diagnosed with CAG by electronic endoscopy in the period from May 2013 to July 2015.Referring to Chronic Atrophic Gastritis Clinic Consensus in 2009,the main clinical symptoms and signs of quantitative classification standard,such as stomach pain,bloating,noisy,dark complexion lag,dry stool,eating less,which recorded before and after every patient treatment of major clinical symptoms,was used in this paper.The selected 68 patients were strictly examined by the gastroscope and pathological diagnosis,and their symptoms and syndromes shows that they had been proved to be CAG sufferers.In the study,patients were divided into two groups based on their visiting sequence using the digital table method: a treatment group and a control group both with 34 patients equally.Furthermore,the two groups were comparability because there was no obvious significant difference(P>0.05)in the total scores of gender,age,duration,endoscopy level,atrophy,intestinal metaplasia,and the degree of clinical symptoms before treatment.The treatment group took Yangyin Hewei Huayu Decoction.The ingredients consist of littoralis 30 g,dendrobium 15 g,fried atractylodes 15 g,turmeric 12 g,red peony root 15 g,white peony root 15 g,bergamot 10 g,citron skin 10 g,amomum 10 g,poria 15 g,albizia julibrissin 10 g,roses 10 g,zhejiang pui 15 g,diffusa 15 g.And ingredients were decocted and extracted to 300 ml,the patients took 150 ml half an hour after a meal and twice a day.12 weeks as a course,the treatment needed two consecutive courses.In contrast,the control group was treated with Weifuchun sheet,made by Hangzhou Hu Qing Yu Tang Pharmaceutical Co.Ltd.Took 4 tablets after meals,3 times a day.The control group was also continuously observed for 2 courses.After treatment,the two treated groups were made comparison with before treatment.Compared the effects between two groups after treatment,the stomach mirror under gastroscope,the degree of glandular atrophy with histopathological examination,intestinal epithelial metaplasia,hp infection,and some clinical symptom mentioned above,was made to carry out a comparative analysis to evaluate its clinical efficacy.Results:Our previous clinical study shows that the total effective rate of Yangyin Hewei Huayu Decoction for CAG is 91.18%,but in the control group,the total effective rate is 71.52%.The treatment group had much better performance in the aspects of endoscopy,inherent mucosal gland atrophy,the degree of intestinal metaplasia,etc.This difference is statistical significant(P<0.05).Meanwhile,in the clinical symptoms of epigastric pain,fullness discomfort,improved noisy acid reflux heartburn,sleep,and other aspects,treatment group had better improvement effects(P<0.05)than control group.However,other symptoms like anorexia,abnormal stools and other symptoms made no significant improvement difference in two groups(P>0.05).In the process of comparison,no adverse reaction happens.Conclusion:The clinical experiments show that Yangyin Hewei Huayu Decoction could significantly rehabilitate the atrophy status of the gastric mucosa,and the results of clinical study indicate it is more efficiency than Weifuchun sheet.Yangyin Hewei Huayu Decoction could significantly ameliorate the clinical symptoms of patients,and improves the gastric mucosal damage,and also has a good effect on gastric viscosity,membrane gland atrophy and intestinal,skin metaplasia,which shows statistical difference by comparing with positive control group(P<0.05).What's more,it can reverse the atrophy of the gland,prevent gastric precancerous lesions.Professor Gan often used Yangyin Hewei Huayu Decoction to cure atrophic gastritis,and achieved good effect.Proved by practice,there is no adverse reaction observed in clinical drug safety assessment process.Therefore,it is considered that the Yangyin Hewei Huayu Decoction is effective traditional Chinese medicine decoction in the treatment of atrophic gastritis.
