The Clinical Observation Of Atractylodes Runchang Decoction In The Treatment Of Functional Constipation With Lung-spleen Qi Deficiency Syndrome

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Atractylodes Runchang Decoction in the treatment of lung and spleen deficiency of functional constipation.Methods:The clinic patients were choosen from the studio of Li Enkuan doctor of wuhan integrated. TCM & western medicine hospital, from 2014.05 to 2015.10.48 cases were in accordance with the requirements of the patients were randomly divided into two groups, treatment group and control group, each has 24 cases. The treatment group was given experience side effects Atractylodes Runchang Decoction(prescription:Rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae 100g, Astragalus membranaceus 30g, Codonopsis pilosula 30, Rehmannia 20g, Cimicifuga 6g, Dried tangerine peel 10g), where the control group was given oral lactulose, five days for one courses of treatment, four courses were one treatment, then followed up for 4 weeks, two groups were observed before and after treatment of constipation symptoms, TCM syndrome integral, relapse rate changes, compared the treatment effect of two schemes on the lung and spleen deficiency of functional constipation.Results:1?The overall clinical efficacy evaluation:both of the two groups can improve the clinical symptoms of constipation, but the effective rate of the treatment group was better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant.2?The continued stability of curative effect:follow-up 4 week after treatment, the recurrence rate in the treatment group was lower than the control group, there were significant differences between the two, it shows that the treatment group of traditional Chinese medicine decoction sustained good stability.3?The effect of individual symptoms:For the constipation symptoms, both of the two groups'observation index of total symptom score, such as stool characteristics, frequency of defecation, defecation time etc, were decreased compared to the treatment of before, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The chinese medicine treatment group in improving the observation indicators about frequency of defecation, defecation time, defecation imcompletely and obstruction, abdominal distention, were better than the control group (P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant. In the improvement of stool characteristics and defecation difficulty index, there is no statistically significant compared to the control group(P>0.05), The treatment group in improving the TCM syndrome observed indicators include Qi shortness, spontaneous sweating, fatigue, and talking laziness, were better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:Atractylodes Runchang Decoction in the treatment of functional constipation of lung spleen deficiency syndrome has obvious curative effect, can not only significantly improve patients with Qi shortness, spontaneous sweating, fatigue and other symptoms, and have different degrees of improvement on the stool characteristics, frequency of defecation, defecation time, abdominal distention, constipation symptoms. Thus can improve the quality of life of patients, alleviate the anxiety of patients. Atractylodes Runchang Decoction provides new ideas and prescriptions for the treatment of functional constipation, is a kind of high efficiency, good stability, decoction widely used in clinical use, is worthy of further study and discussion.
