| ObjectiveThis study applied the old multidimensional evaluation method to evaluate the health status of the elderly in the pension institutions of the poor areas in Liaoning Province.It was aimed at collecting the elderly multidimensional health status data of the poverty-stricken areas of Liaoning Province.Through the data collection and statistical analysis,a comprehensive assessment of the elderly people in nursing homes,nursing needs,in order to find a kind of adaptation mechanism in the poverty-stricken areas endowment elderly care needs the best nursing service mode,as far as possible meet the poverty-stricken areas of old-age care institutions in elderly nursing demand.At the same time,so as to provide reference for nursing service standardization and scientific institutions.MethodsIn this study,strictly according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria by simple random sampling in 2014 may-December 2014 in Liaoning Province five state-level poverty-stricken counties(Chaoyang County,Jianchang County,Jianping County,Yixian,Kazuo)pension institutions were randomly selected 726 old people as the object of this study.Using the comprehensive health function evaluation form of the elderly and the MMSE scale to evaluate the multidimensional function of the elderly.Statistical methods,using SPSS17.0 statistical software for data entry and analysis,which general data by descriptive statistical analysis,count data using chi square test,measurement data by t test and correlation analysis.ResultsAfter statistical treatment and analysis,the results of this study are as follows:1.The overall evaluation results of the elderly in the elderly can be based on the score standard from high to low in order to be divided into "good" and "general" "poor" three grades,each grade composition ratio of 55.9%,31.8%,12.3%.2.The rate of linear trend of the chi square test suggested that the elderly health status of the elderly health status of the rate of decline with age,with the increase in the degree of culture and growth.3.On different health dimensions of the elderly health status of chi square test,by chi square test available,?2=753.512,P = 0.000,according to the level of alpha 0.05 test,refused to the null hypothesis,the difference is statistically significant,the health status of the elderly in different health dimensions are not all the same.4.Old-age care institutions in the elderly multidimensional evaluation results showed that the elderly physical health dimension,the health status of "excellent" accounted for the highest proportion(88.5%);economic situation dimensions(83.7%)after the proportion of physical health,second health status in accordance with the "excellent" accounts for the proportion,of the various dimensions of health from high to low sort,income is as follows,the social health dimension(75.3%)and mental health dimensions(48.9%),daily life ability dimension(44.6%)and cognitive dimensions(48.6%)results.It is worth noting that the old people's daily life activity ability and cognitive ability dimensions of the health status of the "excellent" and "good" than the other four health dimensions.5.According to the extent of damage to multidimensional evaluation of the elderly the sorting and analysis.The results showed that the proportion of mental health,economic status,physical health,social health,cognitive ability,ability of activities of daily living of the six dimensions of health status were not affected by the damage of the elderly is 25.5%,all damage of accounted for 5.2%,the six dimensions of impaired relative to the proportion of 55.4%.Part of the dimensions of the damage in accordance with the proportion of the damage,followed by cognitive function(51.4%),physical health(51.1%),social health(24.7%)and economic maintenance capacity(16.3%).Among them,the lowest level of damage was "mental health" dimension,only 11.4%;the highest degree of damage to the "daily life" dimension.6.Correlation analysis results show that overall health status among the various dimensions of close relationship(r values were greater than 0.3 and P less than 0.01).In addition,overall health status with activities of daily living abilities were positively correlated and there is a close relationship between intima-media ultrasound density.Furthermore,in accordance with the relevant coefficient absolute value of the size of the sort sequentially for cognitive function(r = 0.732),physical health(0.720),mental health(0.685),social health(0.680)economic health dimension(0.672).The relationship between physical health and activities of daily living and cognitive function was most closely related(r value was greater than 0.3,and P value was less than 0.01).Conclusions1.The poverty-stricken areas of Liaoning Province,institution endowment elderly multidimensional health status can not be optimistic about the health status of "general" and "poor" compared with the proportion of health "health",nursing staff should pay attention to health education,timely assessment of the health status of the elderly,mainly to meet the health needs of the elderly.2.The poverty-stricken areas of Liaoning Province,institution endowment elderly multidimensional health of different dimensions are wholly or partially damaged,of which the dimension of "mental health" intact,activity of daily living ability dimension damaged the most serious,the nursing staff should provide effective rehabilitation training,help old people recover part of the activities of daily living ability.3.The relationship between health status and individual health status was closely related,but the most closely related to the general health status was the function of daily living,cognitive ability and physical health status. |
