Objective: Based on traditional acupuncture treatment of constipation and modern medical theory,and combined with past experimental study of acupuncture treatment of constipation and Professor XU Ming-hui's study of acupuncture treatment for constipation,it is to evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture treatment for constipation of intestinal qi stagnation and to provide a new method for the clinical treatment of the disease.This study was designed by comparing the treatment group of using acupuncture and the control group of using phenolphthalein tablets,and rating the two groups before and after the treatment in CCS and Bristol stool rating scale.Methods: Fifty patients from in-patients of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine Ren'ai Branch Acupuncture clinic,Nanning Jian Zheng East Community Service Center and students of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine in-patients with constipation will meet the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria in school,random numbers table method patients were divided into 2 groups,the treatment group and the control group 25 cases.The treatment group(air-conditioning method) selection of points: Kung-Sanyinjiao,Taichong,Zusanli,on the giant virtual,gu,missing out,Tianshu,treatment once daily(Monday to Saturday therapy,Sundays),6 times as a course of treatment,a total of 3 courses of treatment.The control group with phenolphthalein in the treatment of oral medicine usage: oral administration of 200 mg,3 times a day,after the effective dose by half,seven days a course of treatment,a total of 3 courses of treatment.Observed treatment,a week,three weeks after the CCS score,Bristol score,defecation,and CCS score after one month's treatment,Bristol scores,number of bowel movements,and compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups after treatment.Results: Before treatment,acupuncture group(treatment group)and phenolphthalein tablets medicine group(control group)in terms of gender,age,duration,CCS score,Bristol scores and defecation 1 week showed no difference(P> 0.05),comparable.1 week after treatment,the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment CCS score,Bristol scores and defecation by paired samples t-test,there were significant differences(P <0.01),showed that the treatment group and the control group of patients with symptoms of constipation,it has improved the quality and frequency of defecation effect;between the two groups by independent sample t-test analysis,the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05),and phenolphthalein oral tablets(control group)in patients with constipation CCS score,Bristol score,improvement of stool frequency compared with air-conditioning acupuncture group(control group)significantly;3 weeks after treatment between the two groups by independent sample t-test analysis,CCS scores and defecation difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05),Bristol scores difference was statistically significant(p <0.05),the two groups showed that the treatment of CCS scores and stool frequency in patients with constipation improve the situation considerably,but the control group of patients with constipation Bristol good score improvement compared with the treatment group;after treatment month follow-up,between the two groups by independent sample t-test analysis,CCS score,Bristol and defecation score differences were statistically significant(p <0.05),and the treatment group is better than the control group,the treatment group showed that patients with constipation CCS score,and score good Bristol defecation improving effect.Comparison of clinical efficacy in the treatment group recovered two people were cured,15 effective,6 people,2 people,the total effective rate was 92%;the control group recovered three people were cured 13 people,effective 5,4,the total the effective rate was 84%.Two total effective rate,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusions: 1.After three courses of treatment,acupuncture treatment of intestinal qi stagnation and constipation were effective medicine group,western medicine group effective than acupuncture group faster,two fairly short-term effect.2.The long-term efficacy of acupuncture group than western medicine group were excellent.3.By comparison,adjusting qi Acupuncture treatment of intestinal gas stagnation constipation is an effective method.
