| Objective To investigate the types of the management mental disorders in Jiading District, and the epidemiological characteristics of schizophrenia, affective disorders, mental retardation, organic mental disorders and other 5 mental disorders, so as to provide the scientific basis for mental disorders in the community intervention.Methods 6046 management mental diseases from Shanghai management system of mental health information in Jiading District were collected from January 1,2012 to December 31,2013 and analyzed using the SPSS19.0 software.Results 6046 management mental diseases in Jiading District including 2904 male patients, accounted for 48%,3142 female patients, accounted for 52%.The male to female ratio was 1:1.08, the mean age was (53.83+14.96) years, the average age of onset was (24.13+16.40) years, the median disease duration 22 (11,34) years. The first rank of Disease constitution was schizophrenia, and proportion was 50.1%.The proportions of mental retardation, affective disorders, organic mental disorders and other mental disorders were 33.5%,7.0%,2.9%, and 6.6%. Five main types of mental diseases in gender, age, education, marital status, mode of onset, family medical history and course of the disease were statistically significant (P<0.01). Different mental illness has different symptoms, such as hear chattering, indifference, tension, sadness, grief, negative, suspicion, lax, delusion, run out, not work effectively, the life cannot provide for oneself.Conclusion The different kinds of patients with mental illness have the different characteristic in the gender, age, culture degree, marital status, mode of onset, family medical history and course of the disease. Different psychiatrics have difference mental symptoms. In the community the mental disorders management, there should be a recurrence and development to take effective prevention and treatment measures to reduce or slow down the disease recurrence and development. |
