Academic Thought And Experience Abstract Of Chief Physician Zheng Meisheng's Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment Of Hypertension

PurposeZHENG Meisheng,Chief Physician,“National Famous Old TCM Doctors”,“the Fifth Batches of the National Old TCM Academic Inheritance Adviser”,achieved remarkable results in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease by the way of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),especially in the prevention and treatment of hypertension by the way of TCM.In clinical practice,she laid stress on yin-yang,zang-fu viscera,deficiency and excess,combined differentiation of disease and syndrome,also traditional Chinese medicine theory with modern medicine theory.She broke though traditional Chinese medicine theory,accumulated a large amount of clinical data and academic thought.It's my honor to learn with her,researched and rearranged her academic thought and experience abstract in the treatment of hypertension by the way of traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive treatment,through inheritance and study,improved my level of Chinese medicine theory,improved my ability of clinical diagnosis totally.studied clinical curative effects and safety of Goujyu Capsule(invented by her)(????)on female's hypertension during menopausal period syndrome of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency.MethodLearned with Chief Physician,ZHENG Meisheng,as the core,combined with my independent clinical diagnosis,studied her academic thought and experience abstract in the treatment of hypertension by the way of traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive treatment.Through randomized controlled clinical trials,observed and studied clinical curative effects of Goujyu Capsule(invented by her)(????)on female's hypertension during menopausal period syndrome of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency.ResultsChief Physician, ZHENG Meisheng, advocated the combination of Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of hypertension, at the same time, laid stress on the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine. Her academic experience sourced from Neijing, though long term theoretical research and clinical practices, she believed that hypertension is due to the out of balance of yin-yang, qi-blood of zang-fu viscera(i.e. Liver, Kidney, heart,etc.) and meridian(i.e. Chong channel, Ren channel,etc.). The lesion of hypertension mainly locates in liver and kidney, involve in zang(i.e. heart, spleen, etc.), belongs to the disease category of TCM “ vertigo”, “headache”, “liver-yang”. She put forward the point of view that diseases caused by five pathogens(wind, fire, phlegm,dampness, blood-stasis evil), the main pathogenesis of vertigo is caused by “ the deficiency of liver and kidney”, “ phlegm dampness syndrome” “live wind stirring”, etc. She thought the treatment of hypertension should be based on the combination of pathogeny, pathogenesis and the differentiation of disease, overall modulating, treating both manifestation and root cause of disease, recuperate deficiency and excess. She concluded the principles of the treatment of hypertension: recuperate liver, kidney, spleen, coordinate prosperity and decline of yin-yang, qi-blood, dispel the real evil, such as wind, fire, phlegm, blood-stasis. So she put forward the therapeutic principles as reducing phelgm, coordinating qi-blood, getting through meridian, nourishing zang-fu viscera, formulated six method of anti-hypertension as calming liver, regulating qi, reducing phlegm,nourishing yin, promoting blood circulation. At the same time, in order to reduce long term oral medication, heavy economic burden to patients, and adverse drug reaction,studied the treatment of hypertension by TCM, developed several preparations in clinical use in Wuhu City Hospital of TCM with obvious effect.Goujyu Capsule is her experience prescription. She is good at regulating liver and kidney, treating hypertension by way of nourishing yin and calming liver. The Capsule mainly treat the hypertension caused by liver kidney yin deficiency, yin deficiency yang excess. Leveling yin-yang through recuperating liver and kidney, extinguishing liver wind, so yin and yang are in balance, and the blood pressure reduced and the clinical symptoms improved. Start from the year of 2002, the Capsule has been used in clinical practice for more than ten years. This study will observe systematically the therapeutic effect of the Capsule on female's hypertension during menopausal period syndrome of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency. Take TCM syndromes as the main evaluating indexes of curative effect, to determine its efficacy and safety.Study of the effect of Goujyu Capsule on the treatment of vertigo: Use the method of random, single blind and positive control, divided randomly into treat group and contrast group. Treat group is oral western medicine Shihuida(Levamlodipine Besylate Tablets) and Goujyu Capsule, contrast group is oral western medicine Shihuida. The TCM syndrome of the two groups before and after treatment are all effective(P<0.05), treat group total effective rate is 86.66%, contrast group total effective rate is 80.00%. The comparison differences of the two groups has statistically significance(P<0.05). The Goujyu Capsule can improve effectively the syndrome of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency patient's symptoms such as dizziness, headache, palpitation, feverish in chest, palms and soles. Conclusion“National Famous Old TCM Doctors”,Adviser, Chief Physician, ZHENG Meisheng, has distinctive characteristics in the treatment of hypertension with decades of experience. Her treatment has obvious effect on the treatment of hypertension, especially to the syndrome of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency and phlegm dampness syndrome, can improve the patient's symptoms effectively. The preparation Goujyu Capsule in Wuhu City Hospital of TCM developed by her was applied to clinical. The Capsule can improved effectively the symptoms of the syndrome of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency patients, and its safe and effective.
