Objective: This study was designed to observe the protective effects of caffeic acid tablets on bone marrow suppression(?-?)after chemotherapy,looking for the more effective,low toxicity,economic,security methods to benefit patients.Methods: This study collected 68 patients of malignant tumor who were severe bone marrow suppression after chemotherapy in The People's Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from March 2015 and March 2016.Divided into two groups,one group is the experimental group,and all patients were treated prevently by rh G-CSF + caffeic acid tablets in the process of chemotherapy;Another 34 patients were chosen to be the control group,they were treated only by rh G-CSF,without caffeic acid tablets.Every patients review the blood routine according to the stipulated time in the treatment of chemotherapy(In the 1 days before the chemotherapy and in the 5th day,10 th day,14 th day,20 th day after every cycle),and give the right doses of rh G-CSF in the light of the degree of bone marrow suppression.Observation of the blood routine,the degree of bone marrow suppression,the KPS score,the marrow suppression recovery time,and other aspects before and after chemotherapy.Results:1.This research 68 postoperative patients of malignant tumor who were severe bone marrow suppression after taxane drugs chemotherapy were divided into research group(n = 34)and control group(n = 34),two groups of patients with baseline data comparison: age,sex,tumor type,chemotherapy regimens,KPS score and routine blood before treatment differences had no statistical significance.The results showed that 65 patients to evaluated,research group have 33 cases and control group have32 cases.2.The main observing indicators The change of WBC: On the 5th day after chemotherapy,two groups were both significantly decreased in the number of WBC because of the rh G-CSF and caffeic acid,and compared with two groups,there was no statistically significant difference(P = 0.341 > 0.05);On the 10 th day after chemotherapy,the number of WBC was lower than the 5th day,and the research group of WBC higher than control group,two groups have statistical significance(P =0.04 < 0.05);On the 14 th day after chemotherapy,both of the counts of WBC increased.Compared with control group,the research group increased obviously,and the level of counts increased obviously.The difference was statistically significant(P= 0.037<0.05).On the 20 th day after chemotherapy,the counts of WBC in two groups both increased,but the research group increased obviously,and the counts were significantly higher than thecontrol group.The difference was statistically significant(P=0.03 <0.05).The change of Neu: On the 5th day after chemotherapy,two groups were both significantly decreased in the number of Neu but compared two groups,there was no statistically significant difference(P=0.994 > 0.05);On the 10 th day after chemotherapy,the number of Neu was lower than the 5th day,and reached its lowest point,the number of Neu in patients with observation group was obviously higher than that of control group,and the two groups was statistically significant(P=0.027 < 0.05);On the 14 th day and the 20 th day,two groups of patients after treatment of Neu count are recovered,and the observation group were higher than control group,the difference was statistically significant(P=0.042<0.05;P=0.034<0.05).Bone marrow inhibition degree: the observation group of bone marrow suppression,mainly mild control a larger proportion of severe bone marrow suppression,observation group of patients with bone marrow suppression was significantly lighter than the control group,compared two groups,the difference was statistically significant(P=0.011<0.05).Severe bone marrow suppression duration analysis: 7 cases of patients with severe bone marrow suppression in the observation group and control group in 14 cases with severe bone marrow suppression,observation group resume for an average of 3.57±1.13 days,the control group was 6.14±2.25 days on average,the difference was statistically significant(P=0.045<0.05).3.The secondary observing indicatorsThe per capita doses of rh G-CSF: Observation group rh G CSF was2.76±2.77 per capita,the control rh G CSF 6.6±5.75 per capita,obviously lower in observation group than control group,the difference was statistically significant(P =0.001< 0.05).The change of HGB: the change of HGB on the 5th,10 th,14th,20 th day after chemotherapy were slightly decreased,but in each period,there were no statistically significant difference.The change of PLT: the changes of PLT on the 5th,10 th after chemotherapy,two groups of PLT were decreased,but the differences between the two groups had no statistical difference;on the 14 th,after chemotherapy,two groups of PLT count fell to the lowest point,observation group of PLT aggregate level higher than the control group;on the 20 th after chemotherapy,PLT count is recovered than 14 th days of chemotherapy,observation group increase than the control group,the overall level of platelet recovery is higher than the control group and observation group platelet inhibition degree was lower than that of control group(P=0.021 < 0.05).The condition of infection: In the two groups in the therapy,only one case of infection in the control group,due to less number of infection cases,and can not be compared temporarily.The change of KPS score: Two groups of patients after chemotherapy KPS scores were decreased,the degree of decline in observation group than controls,but there was no statistically significant difference(P=0.403 > 0.05).3.The security:Liver and kidney function analysis: the changes of two groups before and after treatment in patients with no statistically significant difference were observed in the indicator of liver and kidney function,liver and kidney toxicity after treatment in both groups with mild damage to give priority to,comparison between two groups of patients,there were no statistically significant difference.Therapy-associated adverse reactions: two groups of adverse reactions include fever,muscle joint pain and the incidence of local reactions compare differences had no statistical significance,but the incidence of adverse reactions to observe group were lower than the control group,showed that safety observation treatment group than the control group.Conclusion(s):(1)The effect is obvious that the preventive use of caffeic acid tablets and the combination of rh G-CSF on preventing and treating to severe WBC,NE inhibitory caused by chemotherapy,and the effect which recover the PLT decline caused by chemotherapy is limited.Both have a synergy effect in combination with.(2)From the perspective of drug consumption,that caffeic acid tablets are used to prevent bone marrow suppression before chemotherapy can reduce the average dosage and days of rh G-CSF in combination treatment period.(3)Caffeic acid tablets has no significant adverse reactions,is economical,safe and effective.
