| OBJECrIVE: To observe the mprovement of BuXuHuaYu Compound on P388 carcinoxnatous mice after chemotherapy and discuss its mechanism. METHODS: The model of bone marrow suppression mice s produced by injecting CTX and Aza-C intzaperitoneally into P388 carcinomatous mice.To devide BuXuHuaYu compoud p twO doses groups-high dose group and low dose group meanvhile three control groups were set up including normal group, chemotherapy group and ThenQiFuZheng Capsules gtoup.To feed mice on medicine for ten days.Then the peripheral blood count, bone marrow mononuclear cells count(BMC), pathologic histology of bone marrow, the numbers of progenitors of ycytes/macrophages(CFU-GM),fibmblastic colony forming unit(CFU-D, nuclear franscripflon lbetor-kB (NF-kB), vasculocellu]ar adhesive molecule-I (VCAM-l) on stromal cells ,bone corlices and bone marrow microenvironment were observed. RESULTS: BuXuHuaYu compound can promote proliferation of bone marrow cells and increase CFU-GM and CFU-F, it can promote the rehabilitation of bone cortices and bone marrow micxovessels in carcinomatous mice after chemotherapy too. The expression of VCAM-l on snomal cell and NF-kB can also be increased. CONCLUSION: BuXuHuaYU Compound has the significant function on protecting bone marrow alter chemotlapy,the rehabilitation of bone marrow microenvironment maybe its important mechanism. |
