The Meta-analysis Of Safety And Efficacy Of Sertraline On Patients With Coronary Heart Disease Complicating Depressive Disorder

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Sertraline in coronary heart disease patients with depressive disorder.Methed: Through the computer document retrieval of MEDLINE,PUBMED,CBM,China academic journalfull-taxt database(WANFANG,CNKI),we used “coronary heart disease”,“sertraline”,“acute myocardial infarction”,“acute coronary syndrome”,“depression”as search terms.The RevMan 5.0 was used to estimate the safety and efficacy of Sertraline on patients with coronary heart disease complicating depressive disorder.Results: Twenty RCTs met the inclusion criteria and 2835 participants were finally recruited into the final analysis.1.Compared with the control group,the total recovery rate [OR=2.58,95%CI(1.52,4.38),Z=3.50,P =0.0005<0.05],total efficiency [OR=3.01,95%CI(1.96,4.63),Z=5.01,P <0.00001],total effective rate [OR=3.97,95%CI(2.54,6.21),Z=7.67,P=0.26<0.00001]were higher significantly and total scores of SDS [OR=-10.0,95%CI(-10.99,-9.01),Z=19.81,P<0.00001]were lower significantly in Sertraline treatment group.2.The HAMD scale scores were statistically significant reduction,suggesting the clinical curative effect in 10 studies but wasn’t in 2 studies before and after treatment.3.Compared with the control group,the total infarction rate [OR=0.37,95%CI(0.21,0.66),Z=3.36,P=0.0008<0.05] was lower significantly in Sertraline treatment group,but not in total mortality [OR=0.62,95%CI(0.36,1.07),Z=1.72,P=0.09>0.05].4.The durations of ST-segment depression were different significantly in 4 studies,suggesting myocardial ischemia improved.5.The total incidence of adverse events [OR=0.26,95%CI(0.19,0.36),Z=8.25,P<0.00001] was lower significancely in Sertraline treatment group compared with the control group.Conclusions:1.The statistically significant differences were found in total recovery rate,efficiency,effective rate and scores of SDS between the control group and treatment group indicate that Sertraline treatment of coronary heart disease with depression is effective.2.The adverse events are rare in the process of coronary heart disease with depression treatment with Sertraline.
