Effect Of Sertraline In Patients With Coronary Heart Disease And Heart Failure Complicated With Anxiety Or Depression

BackgroundCoronary heart disease is a cardiovascular disease with a high clinical incidence.Among all cardiovascular disease patients,about half of them die of coronary heart disease,which is a serious threat to life and health.Heart failure is the terminal stage of a variety of cardiovascular diseases,and coronary heart disease is the main cause of heart failure.The occurrence of coronary heart disease is related to many factors.In recent years,studies have found that psychological factors play an important role in the onset and treatment of coronary heart disease.Most patients with heart failure have varying degrees of anxiety or depression,and negative emotions in turn aggravate the ischemic and hypoxic state of patients.Heart failure affects the treatment effect.ObjectiveThis article will analyze the clinical efficacy of sertraline in patients with coronary heart disease of heart failure,anxiety or depression,and provide references for the clinical treatment of the disease.MethodsThe study subjects were selected from patients hospitalized with coronary heart disease and heart failure combined with anxiety or depression treated in our hospital’s cardiology department,a total of 80 cases,and the time range was from December 2019 to December 2020.All patients met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.They are divided into two groups according to random number table.40 patients who took conventional treatment were used as the control group,and 40 patients who were treated with sertraline on the basis of conventional treatment were used as observation group.Evaluate anxiety or depression before and after treatment with the Patient Health Questionnaire Depressive Symptom Group Scale(PHQ-9)and Generalized Anxiety Scale(GAD-7);check the blood N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP)and detect the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter by echocardiography(LVEDD)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),and perform a 6-minuts walk test(6MWT)to evaluate exercise tolerance.Both groups of patients were followed up for 4 weeks after treatment,and the patients’ length of stay,anxiety,depression and improvement of cardiac function were counted.Results1.The PHQ-9 scores and GAD-7 scores of the two groups of patients were lower after treatment than before treatment,and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05),and the observation group was lower than the control group after treatment,and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05).2.After treatment,NT-pro BNP and LVEDD of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and LVEF and 6MWT were higher than those of the control group.There was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).3.After treatment,the average length of stay and the observation group were lower than those of the control group.There was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Sertraline can effectively reduce anxiety and depression in patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure combined with anxiety and depression;2.Sertraline can promote the decline of patients’ NT-pro BNP and LVEDD,increase LVEF and 6MWT,effectively improve heart function and shortening average length of stay.
