The Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Point Catgut-embedding Therapy In The Treatment Of Sub-health State Of Qi Deficiency Type

Objective:To observe the influences of Acupuncture Point Catgutembedding Therapy on the improvement of body condition of the sub-health State of Qi deficiency type,and discuss its clinical effect in order to provide a more efficient and economical treatment program to treat this disease.Method:Sixty patients in the sub-health state of Qi deficiency type which meets the standard were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,thirty cases in each group,according to the table of random number.The treatment group were treated with Acupuncture Point Catgutembedding Therapy plus health education,and the control group with health education.The treatment group were selected the points as follows:Pishu(BL20),shenshu(BL23),zhongwan(RN12),guanyuan(RN4),zusanli(ST36).Clinical symptoms and the scores of Cornell Medical Index and Qi deficiency were observed before and after treatment respectively.Results: After a month of treatment,the clinical symptoms and the scores of Cornell Medical Index and Qi deficiency were improved in two groups respectively compared with the conditions before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There is significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).The total efficiency in the treatment group was 83.33% and 60% in the control group.There is statistical significance difference(P<0.05)between this two groupsConclusions:Acupuncture Point Catgut-embedding Therapy plus health education group is significantly better than the simple health education group.Acupuncture Point Catgut-embedding Therapy is one of effective methods to treat the sub-health State of Qi deficiency type,which can improve the patient's quality of life.It also has the advantages of a long time between each treatment,less treating times and saving time,it is worth to popularize in clinic.
