The Clinical Observation Of Zishenzengshui Decoction Combined With Acupuncture Therapy Treating Hypomenorrhea

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of zishenzengshui decoction combined with acupuncture therapy treating hypomenorrhea and to explore its mechanism.Methods: 60 cases of hypomenorrhea patients were randomly divided into two groups(n=30).The treatment group were treated with zishenzengshui decoction combined with acupuncture therapy,while the control group was treated with sequential therapy of progynova and progesterone.All patients were treated for three menstrual cycles.Changes of TCM symptoms,menstrual flow restoration and endometrium of all patients were observed before and after the treatment.Results: No significant difference were found in TCM symptom score,menstrual flow volume and endometrial thickness between the two groups(P>0.05).The treatment group were significantly better than the control group in the improvement of menstruation,especially in the menstruation flow volume and the TCM syndromes(P<0.05).all patients' endometrial thickness measurements were improved after the treatment,but no significant difference were found between the two groups.In this study,The total efficacy of improving menstruation flow volume of the treatment group was 93.32%,while it was 73.32% in the control group;with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The total efficacy of improving TCM syndromes of the treatment group was 90.00%,while it was 66.66% in the control group;with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).No adverse reaction or complication were seen during the whole treatment.Conclusion: zishenzengshui decoction combined with acupuncture therapy can effectively treat hypomenorrhea,it can improve patients' TCM symptoms,menstrual flow volume and endometrial thickness,it works better than sequential therapy of progynova and progesterone,with no absolute adverse reactions...
