Objective: To observe the influences of back-shu point catgut-embedding therapy on clinical symptoms and attack times and variable serum IL-13 for patients with bronchial asthma,to assess the elevation of the treatment effect on the back-shu point catgut-embedding on bronchial asthma patients.To provide new clinical treatment ideas and intervention for bronchial asthma.Methods: This study case from acupuncture clinic and pneumology clinic of Ruikang hospital affiliated Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine in the period of June,2014 to June,2015.(1)The research object according to diagnostic codes the Internal medicine(8th edition)of “Bronchial asthma”.(2)The diagnostic of TCM of asthma due to “traditional Chinese medicine new medicine clinical research guiding principle”.A randomized,controlled,single blind clinical trial was used.Patients who due to asthma inclusion criteria were included in and randomly divided into treatment group and control group 37 cases each.In treatment group,take the point of fei shu-point、pi shu-point、shen shu-point to Catgut-embedding,every other 10 days have a treatment,10 days begin the next treatment,3 months as 1 course.The control group took western medicine Aminophylline Sustained-release,every two times a day to 0.1g,treatment for 3 months.Observe on double group variation about syndrome of Chinese medicine、Asthma Control Test(ACT)、 serum IL-13 level on pretherapy and post-treatment and as the main evaluation index assess the effection.The checking way of serum IL-13 contents by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.All data processed with computer SPSS17.0.Results: The actual completion patients were 71 including 35 cases of treatment group and 36 cases of control group.Before treatment,compare two group patients gender、age、course of disease and syndrome of Chinese medicine scores、ACT scores、serum IL-13 level.The basic line of two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05).After the treatment,Comparison in the group,two group pretherapy and post-treatment of equivalence which has significant difference(P<0.05),tow group can effectively improve asthma.The total efficiency in treatment group was 80.00% and 77.80% in control group,with no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05),two group therapeutic was equivalence;Comparison in the group,two group pretherapy and post-treatment of ACT scores which has difference(P<0.05),tow group can effectively improve control the asthma.After treatment,Comparison between the two group has difference(P<0.05),the treatment scores was22.37±2.51 and 20.61±3.12 in control group,the curative effect of treatment group was superior to the control group;Comparison in the group,two group pretherapy and post-treatment of serum IL-13 level which has significant difference(P<0.05),tow group can reduce the lever of serum IL-13,After treatment,comparison between the two group has difference the statistically significant(P<0.05),the treatment was42.54±4.39pg/ml and 50.51±4.72 pg/ml in control group,the effect of reduce serum IL-13 level treatment group was superior to the control group.Conclusion: Catgut-embedding on back-shu point can improve the bronchial asthma patients’ symptoms,effectively improve asthma as good as took western medicine Aminophylline Sustained-release;Catgut-embedding on back-shu point can control the frequency of asthma occur and reduce the content of IL-13 in the serum,the effect was superior to took Aminophylline Sustained-release.Catgut-embedding on back-shu point can reduce the content of IL-13 in the serum,may be because to restrain the inflammatory cell or speed up the metabolism,reduce to inflammatory response,improve the immunity,to reduce the recurrence of asthma.
