Purpose: Because sleep disorders caused by epilepsy,disturbance of consciousness,cognitive decline and other symptoms,serious impact on the health and lives of patients with epilepsy.The study found that the most fundamental factor seizures abnormal discharge of neurons,abnormal discharge and this situation only with the help of EEG technology,clear,clear,objective and observed,and the only means of EEG technology to correct confirmed.The rapid development of computer technology to promote the escalation of EEG monitoring,clinical use has become increasingly widespread.Video-EEG monitoring techniques(VEEG)can be determined in addition to epilepsy lesions depth evaluation of the patient unconscious,determine the patient's prognosis,but also effectively detect the presence or absence of comatose patients can be non-convulsive status epilepticus(NCSE),which under no circumstances EEG monitoring technology,basically difficult to confirm.For the NCSE,people do not know much at first,and their presence does not clinically precise determination means,it has not attracted much attention.But with the popularity of VEEG application technology,more and more observed in VEEG comatose patients,the analysis found that along with the NCSE occurs.VEEG for NCSE testing is the most appropriate and effective,known as the gold standard for the detection of NCSE.On the basis of the above effective means of detection,by VEEG study NCSE occurs,clinical manifestations,physiological response has become increasingly attracted research interest.Clinically NCSE main body is non-convulsive status epilepticus,consciousness is the main clinical manifestations.By VEEG research,clinical NCSE seizures,paroxysmal EEG duration ?30min.We are through the clinical treatment of comatose patients with long-range VEEG monitoring to analyze the performance of NCSE situation comatose patients,characterized by the onset of EEG NCSE corresponding physiological response,as determined later NCSE fundamental basis for determining,at the same time by changes VEEG,you can also change the treatment options for patients,so that coma patient can wake up early and,ideally prognosis.Method: 60 cases of coma patients in emergency records,including clinical data(causes of the patient,gender,age,breathing,cranial CT,MRI examination,blood biochemistry,pupillary reflex,etc.)in patients on admission,Inspection of the nervous system,video examination results.Select 27 cases of emergency coma patients in a coma for 7 days to give VEEG long-range inspection,and record EEG changes comatose patients,and EEG saved for subsequent analysis.Through observation,changes in EEG analysis,observation,comparing characteristics of brain waves appear,disappear,diagnosed with NCSE occurs,and to explore the effective treatment of NCSE explore VEEG three-phase wave-like brain waves,patients with a diagnosis of coma NCSE or metabolic encephalopathy basis.By VEEG coma patients showed the possibility of NCSE,the clinical manifestations of physiological responses convulsions mouth,tongue clinically myoclonic reference value.Result: We monitored 27 cases of coma patients,VEEG as follows: intermittent,periodic ?-wave(IRDA)coma eight cases,;? coma three cases;spindle coma five cases;? coma one cases;three-phase wave-like brain waves coma 4 Example;EEG activity inhibiting two cases;side of the hemisphere ? wave side of the hemisphere EEG activity inhibiting one case;EEG showed spike wave,sharp wave or spike slow wave of NCSE 3 cases.4 cases of the three-phase wave-like coma patients,3 cases of NCSE patients.27 cases of coma patients,7 patients(25.9%)(3 cases EEG showed spike wave,sharp wave or spike slow wave complex,three cases VEEG showed a three-phase wave-like brain waves)NCSE,one case of convulsions mouth,tongue there myoclonus in comatose patients,diagnosed in ongoing clinical monitoring of NCSE.Conclusion: Coma patients VEEG study its coma types including IRDA,? coma,? coma,brain electrical activity inhibition,spindle coma,coma-phase wave-like brain waves through VEEG have observed spikes,sharp wave or spike and wave composite NCSE.Through the clinical data were analyzed,including the cause of the patient's medical history,CT,MRI examination can determine the three-phase wave-like changes in brain waves is NCSE comatose patients or metabolic brain disease.Since clinical NCSE easy for comatose patients misdiagnosis,can be performed by VEEG diagnosis by brain waves change,and contribute to clinical medicine,for the prognosis will be a great help.In this study,60 patients by emergency patients,27 patients were long-VEEG monitoring presence NCSE 25.9%(7/27)in patients with high prevalence,because of the sufficient attention in the same time,should the clinical needs its done more research.1 case of coma patients have seizures mouth,tongue have myoclonic,after a long observation detection,diagnosis of NCSE,therefore,for patients on clinical manifestations similar physiological need to focus attention and long-range observation.
