Objective:By comparing the intervention group and control group before and after intervention by self-evaluation of anxiety scale (SAS),visual analogue scale (VAS) pain, sleep quality, heart rate, blood pressure, observe the the clinical curative effect of mixed hemorrhoid postoperative anxiety by auricular point press therapy intervention and to explore the clinical significance of reducing the patients’ anxiety after the mixed hemorrhoid surgery. Methods:This research adopts randomized controlled trials, searching 113 cases of hospitalized patients in March-December 2014 in chengdu university of traditional Chinese medicine hospital anorectal who did the Milligan Morgan hemorrhoidectomy and The rectal mucosa ligation anastomosis whose preoperative self-evaluation of anxiety scale (SAS)>50 points were out, then remaining 93 cases; And whose postoperative day self-evaluation of anxiety scale (SAS)<50 points were out again, finally there were 66 patients included in this study and were randomly assigned to the control group and intervention group according to their numerical order of 1:1,the intervention group had 33 cases and the control group had 33 cases. The intervention group received routine treatment plus auricular point press therapy for a week, during this period the control group only had routine treatment, compared the changements of self-evaluation of anxiety scale (SAS) score, visual analogue scale (VAS) pain, sleep quality, heart rate, blood pressure in two groups of patients in postoperative day,the second day after operation and postoperative week.Results:(1) Through the comparison of intervention group and control group before intervention, there was no statistical difference in terms of age, gender, course of disease, degree of culture;and aslo had no statistical difference (P>0.05) in the self-evaluation of anxiety scale (SAS) score, visual analogue scale (VAS) pain, sleep quality, heart rate, blood pressure (P>0.05),the data was comparable. (2) There were significant statistically difference between intervention group and control group after the auricular point press therapy in self-evaluation of anxiety scale (SAS) score, visual analogue scale (VAS) pain, sleep quality, heart rate, blood pressure in the second day after operation, postoperative week (P<0.05), suggesting that auricular point press intervention in patients with mixed hemorrhoid surgery anxiety curative is effective. Conclusion:Because of its special function and anatomical locations, postoperative patients of anorectal surgery are prone to anxiety, thereby affecting appetite, sleep, mood, results in the decrease of the quality of life, and further affect the prognosis and outcome of the disease. Auricular point press intervention can be effective in interventing patients’ postoperative anxiety and thus improving the postoperative efficacy and the quality of life. |
