Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Perioperative Anxiety Of Cosmetic Rhinoplasty With Auricular Acupuncture

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of auricular acupuncture with thumbtack needle in relieving perioperative anxiety of cosmetic rhinoplasty,and to compare it with psychological intervention therapy,so as to provide a basis for clinical application of auricular acupuncture with thumbtack needlein reducing perioperative anxiety of cosmetic rhinoplasty.Method:Patients undergoing cosmetic rhinoplasty from June 2017 to September 2018by the same physician in the plastic surgery department of Jiangsu provincial hospital of Chinese medicine,male or female,aged 18-55,were randomly divided into two groups,36 in the treatment group and 37 in the control group.The treatment group was treated with psychological intervention combined with auricular acupuncturewith thumbtack needle while the control group was only treated with psychological intervention.In addition,patients were instructed to fill in the Body Dysmorphic Disorder Scale(BDDS)2 days before surgery,and fill in the state anxiety questionnaire(S-AI)2 days before surgery,1 day before surgery and 3 days after surgery.To evaluate the effect of auricular acupuncture with thumbtack needle for the treatment of perioperative anxiety of cosmetic rhinoplasty by comparing whether there was a difference in the scores of S-AI questionnaire at each time between the two groups.Result:1.There was no significant linear correlation between S-AIscore(2 days before surgery)and BDDS score(r=0.109,P=0.358,P>0.05).There was no significant difference in S-AI score between different age groups(t=-1.631,P=0.107,P>0.05).The S-AI score of males was significantly lower than that of females(t=-3.691,P=0.0004,P<0.05).The S-AI score of patients underwent revision rhinoplasty was significantly lower than that of primary patients(t=2.569,P=0.012,P<0.05).2.T-test of two independent samples was used,and the difference in S-AI score between the treatment group and the control group(2 days before surgery)was not significant(t=-0.713,P=0.480,P>0.05).The difference of S-AI score(1 day before surgery)between the groups was significant(t=-2.071,P=0.045,P<0.05),and the S-AI score(1 day before surgery)in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group.S-AI score(3 days after surgery)was significantly different between the two groups(t=-2.149,P=0.038,P<0.05),and S-AI score(3 days after surgery)in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group.3.There was a significant linear correlation between the score of the ofBody Dysmorphic Disorder Scale and the satisfaction at 6 months after surgery(r=-0.385,P=0.011,P<0.05),showing a significant negative correlation.The lower the score of the BDDS is,the higher the satisfaction at 6 months after surgery is.Conclusion:1.Auricular acupuncture with thumbtack needle can effectively relieve perioperative anxiety of cosmetic rhinoplasty.2.In cosmetic rhinoplasty,there is no correlation between the severity of Body DysmorphicDisorder and preoperative anxiety.The preoperative anxiety of male patients is significantly lower than that of female patients,and the preoperative anxiety of patients underwentrevision rhinoplasty issignificantly lower than that of patients underwent primary surgery.3.The higher the severity of Body DysmorphicDisorder is,the lower the satisfaction degree isat 6 months after cosmetic rhinoplasty.
