Objective:Understand the anxiety status of pediatric mothers and its influencing factorsduring the pediatric perioperative period. To explore the impact of the comprehensivenursing intervention on the pediatric postoperative pain and the anxiety status oftheir mothers.Apply the comprehensive nursing intervention into the pediatricperioperative nursing.Establish a pain management model which pediatric motherscan participate in health education associate with the comprehensive nursingmeasures. To fill the blank in the pediatric postoperative pain assessment and thecomprehensive nursing intervention,in order to provide theory evidence of the painmanagement for clinical nursing workers. Methods:The research selected100cases of pediatric who fell in hemi-Inguinal Herniaor hemi-Hydrocele and their mothers from the first hospital of Jilin University inChangchun City from January to June,2014.Extract object of research randomly whomet the standards from January to March into the control group and April to Juneinto the intervention group,50cases in each group. The control group was givenconventional pain management model. While the intervention group was given painmanagement model which pediatric mothers participated in health educationassociate with the comprehensive nursing measures on the basis of the conventionalpain management model. The two groups of the pediatric mothers used the tool ofState Anxiety Inventory (S-AI) to measure the anxiety status at the preoperative oneday, the postoperative day and the day of left hospital. The two groups of pediatricused the Observational Pain Grading Evaluation method (FLACC scored method) and the Electrocardiogram Monitor to monitor and evaluate the value of the Intensityof Pain, Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Respiratory Rate, then record the results in thepostoperative six stages within five hours. All data were processed by SPSS17.0software and Excel form for statistical analysis. If the measurement data wereaccording with the normal distribution, used t-test and single factor analysis ofvariance;otherwise used Nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis H-test.The enumeration datawere compared by the Chi-Square test.Results:1.The baseline measure results showed: The two groups of pediatric had nodifferences with statistical significance from baseline data in the sex, age, weight, diagnosis, the name of surgery and the hospital day. There were comparability(P>0.05).The two groups of pediatric mothers had no differences with statisticalsignificance from baseline data in age, the place of residence, educationalbackground, occupation, family income monthly and the type of pediatric medicalinsurance. There were comparability(P>0.05).2.The score of the Pain intensity results showed:Compared the postoperativepain score between two groups, the intervention group pediatric were lower than thecontrol group. The differences had statistical significance(P<0.01).The postoperativepain intensity reduced gradually in two groups, and the pain intensity fluctuation ofintervention group is greater compared with the control group.3.Vital signs results showed:Compared the postoperative Heart Rate, BloodPressure, Respiratory Rate between two groups, the intervention group pediatricwere lower than the control group. The differences had statistical significance(P <0.01).The postoperative Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Respiratory Rate tended tostable gradually at different stages, and the score of the control group were higherthan the intervention group at the same stage.4.The score of State Anxiety Inventory (S-AI) results showed:Compared the pediatric mothers’ anxiety status within or between the two groups, there weredifferences with statistical significance in the pediatric mothers’ anxiety status at thepreoperative one day, the postoperative day and the day of left hospital(P <0.01).5.The pain nursing satisfaction survey results showed:Compared the pediatricmothers’pain nursing satisfaction between two groups, the intervention group washigher than the control group. There were differences with statistical significance(P <0.01).Conclusion:1.The pain management model which pediatric mothers participate in healtheducation associate with the comprehensive nursing measures can alleviate pediatricpostoperative pain effectively, and let the postoperative Heart Rate, Blood Pressure,Respiratory Rate tend to stable gradually.2.The pain management model which pediatric mothers participate in healtheducation associate with the comprehensive nursing measures can alleviate theanxiety status of pediatric mothers during the pediatric perioperative period as wellas improve the pain nursing satisfaction of pediatric mothers.3.The pain management model which pediatric mothers participate in healtheducation associate with the comprehensive nursing measures provides effectivereference frame for the pediatric postoperative pain management.
