Objective: Through clinical observation those in patients withacute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD)?which changes before and after used Apricot loquat cough granulesin FEV1and FEV1%pre, induced sputum in neutrophils (polymorphonuclearneutrophil,PMN) percentage, percentage changes in induced sputummacrophage cells, to determine whether Apricot loquat cough granules canimprove lung function for AECOPD patients, Determine whether Apricot loquatcough granules intervention in the induced sputum in neutrophils have a certainsignificance, exploring lung distension heat-phlegm syndrome of traditionalChinese medicine and clearing lung and resolving phlegm and relieving coughand reducing sputum of relevance and difference between Western medicine andprovide certain reference basis for integrated Chinese and Western medicine onprevention and treatment of AECOPD.Methods:Choose in Luzhou MedicalCollege affiliated hospital and affiliated Chinese medicine hospital of AECOPDtreatment patients admitted, and belonging to phlegm-heat syndrome in90casescarry out randomized control observation. All subjects in induced sputum intreatment of blood before their percentage of neutrophils and macrophages, firstsecond outgoing call volume (FEV1) and FEV1%projected values (FEV1%pre)and so on. Foundation for all subjects in the treatment: antibiotics, oxygen therapy;90subjects were randomly divided into three groups: group a, group band group c. Group a: primary care, Group b: basic treatment+montelukastsodium10mg Qn; C treated groups: basic treatment+apricot loquat coughgranules10g, tid,7days for a course. Treatment after the determination of therespective percentage of neutrophils and macrophages induced sputumpercentage of FEV1and FEV1%pre, and as the indices arecompared.Results:1?Compare before treatment: pre-treatment A, B, C age, sex,FEV1and FEV1%pre value among the three groups, induced sputumneutrophil percentage and the percentage of macrophages, were not significant(P>0.05), no statistical significance.2?Comparison of lung function: Aftertreatment A, group B FEV1%pre subjects have increased over the previous (P<0.05), with statistical significance; Group C FEV1and FEV1%pre value ishigher than after treatment and A group B (P <0.01), statistically significantmeaning.3? Comparison of induced sputum: C treatment group wassignificantly lower than the percentage of neutrophils A, group B (P <0.01),statistically significant significant; percentage of macrophages was significantlyhigher in group C after treatment A, group B (P <0.01), statistical significance isobvious.4?Contrast hospital stay: A, group B hospitalization significantdifference (P>0.05), no statistically significant, hospitalization time wassignificantly less than in group C A, group B,(P <0.05), there are statisticallysignificant.Conclusion:1?Apricot loquat cough granules can improve lungfunction (FEV1, FEV1%pre) AECOPD patients better than A, group B.2? Apricot loquat cough granules can be reduced in patients with AECOPDinduced sputum neutrophil percentage, better than A, group B.3?Apricot loquatcough granules can increase the percentage of patients with AECOPD inducedsputum macrophages, better than A, group B.4?Apricot loquat cough granulescan shorten the course, reduce hospitalization time AECOPD patients, betterthan A, group B.
