| Hu Sheep is a kind of unique variety in Hangzhou,Jiaxing and Huzhou in Zhejiang Province.The Hu Sheep amout in Zhejiang Province accounts for more than 70% of China.Huzhou and Tongxiang have the largest number in Zhejiang.Hu Sheep has not only high reproductive performance,fast growth performance,strong adaptability to the environment,but also has the resistance to crude feed,slaughter rate,tender meat.Small Hu Sheepskin is known to the world,exported to overseas,known as the "Soft Gem of China".However,due to the protection of resources and development and utilization of Hu Sheep lack of long-term scientific guidance,and foreign sheep were commonly introduced to breed wide hybridization,some sheep purity is not high,appearance is not obvious.So Hu Sheep resources has been seriously challenged.Therefore,genetic resources protection and exploitation in Zhejiang area in the excellent local varieties,the study on the conservation of germplasm resources of new technology and the excellent characteristics of genetic basis,to protect the genetic diversity of Hu Sheep in Zhejiang province is particularly urgent and important.In this paper,the current situation and development and utilization of the Hu Sheep genetic resources in Zhejiang Province were investigated.The results showed that the characteristics of Hu Sheep genetic resources in Zhejiang Province were significant.The Hu Sheep was strong adaptable to the environment and resistant to crude feed.The natural environmental conditions in Zhejiang Province were strong adaptability,can effectively use asparagus,straw and other crude fiber feed,thus avoiding the asparagus,straw burning caused by environmental pollution.The reproductive ability is strong,sexual maturity is earlier.Under normal and reasonable feeding conditions,three-births per year can be achieved and the yield of two lambs can be produced per one fetus,and the lambing rate of the ewes can reach over 220%.Hu Sheep has fresh meat,light meal,high net rate of high,suitable for mother of fat lamb.Hu Sheep is rich in genetic polymorphism.After crossbreeding with excellent sheep breeds at home and abroad,the hybridization effect is very obvious,the growth performance of hybrid progeny significantly improved,meat production performance and meat quality have been significantly improved.However,there are still many problems in the development of Zhejiang Hu Sheep industry.Exported Hu Sheep get uneven quality;the ram utilization rate is low;Hu Sheep germplasm resources lack of professional scientific guidance and planning;an effective operation mechanism of seed development has not established.Inadequate investment in conservation funds;inadequate investment in science and technology conservation by government enterprises;further expansion of the breeding population in Hu Sheep breeding field is needed;lack of systematic and continuous protection of the germplasm resources of core group.In addition,raising high costs,crop straw resources development and utilization of outstanding problems also seriously affect the Hu Sheep genetic resources protection and utilization of work.Based on the actual situation of many Hu Sheep preservation enterprises in Zhejiang Province,this study scientifically analyzed the research findings and put forward new countermeasures and measures in light of the current problems in Hu Sheep preservation and development and utilization. |
