The Dynamic Of Forest Resources And Management Plannings Of Dashantang Forest Farm

Using the date of inventory for forest management plannings and design of Dashantang Forest Farm during 2004 to 2013 in Hechi city in this paper,and analying the forest resources and its dynamic by contrastive analysis and chart analysis.Based on the present situation of the farm forest resources,making a forest management planning form forest management layout,the forest site quality ranking,sivilculture,forest harvesting and forest conservancy.The main conclusions were that:1.In 2003 the total land area of Dashantang forest farm was 3045.3 hectares,forest land accounts for 57.97%,with the largest percentage of area,the next is the non-timber forest land,and auxiliary forest land had the least ratio.The public welfare forest area was 470.1 hectares,the commercial forest area was 2210.3 hectares.Its main tree resources included arbor,shrub and bamboo forest.The forest age groups structure was not rational,the mature and over-mature forests area were larger while young and middle aged forests had less area,it should be increase forestation and supplement forest resources in time.On the other hand,The main dominant tree species in forest farm include Cunninghamia lanceolata(Lamb.)Hook.,Pinus massoniana Lamb.,Eucalyptus robusta Smith and a few Hard wood,the trees specie was single,and it should be increase multiple tree species,and improve forest yield while improving forest stability and reducing pests and diseases.2.During 2004 to 2013,because of the adjustment of inventory technology and methodology,a part of land had changed before and after,and the area of non-forest land was decreased while forest land was increased.The forest coverage and virescence ratio appeared declining trend with decreasing area of the forest land.The area of forest land,open forest land,suitable land for forest and occupied forest land were reduced while the area of shrub land,afforest land and non-timber forest land increases.3.The timber forest was the main forest species of Dashantang Forest Farm,and its growing stock volume was decreasing.Besides the stocking volume per unit area of the forest was decreasing too.This was due to the reduced forest land and the increased mature trees consumption.4.For the forest resources of Dashantang Forest Farm,making some plans to manage forest.Dashantang Forest Farm was regionalized into 2 forest functional areas,including the area of eastern comprehensive management of stony desertification and special economic forest and the area of industrial raw material timber forest of-Diaojiang river basin,according to forest classification,the forest farm was divided into five management types,include soil and water conservation forest management types,short rotation industrial raw material forest management types,general timber forest management types,economic forest of fruit tree management types,and edible raw materials forest management types.Ane the forest site quality of Dashantang Forest Farm was includedⅠ.Ⅱ.Ⅲ andⅣlevel,Illevel had the largest proportion.Based on this,the forest farm was divided into special protected type and intensively managed type.According to the classification of forest,this paper putted forward some measures to manage the public welfare forest and the commercial forest from afforestation,nursing management and closing the land for reforestation.Based on the forest structure condition,the forest cutting volume was calculated and arguments were made for the reasonable yearly cutting volume,and then getting the yearly cutting volume and harvest cutting volume.A series of forest protection measures were put forward from forest fire prevention and pest control at the end of paper.
