Forest Management Programme Establishment Research For Beijing Xishan Trial Forest Farm

This paper based on the understanding of forest resource status and its characteristics, and under the premise of operating conditions, such as forest management, forest ecology and forest cultivation based on multi-disciplinary knowledge background, in Beijing Xishan Trial Forest Farm of sustainable forest management plan research, aimed at Xishan Trial Forest Farm to establish scientific, reasonable and effective forest management plan.In this paper, the main research contents include the Beijing Xishan Trial Forest Farm of forest resources management present situation and effect evaluation; development positioning and business goals; forest ecological function division and forest management system, etc. Through to the Beijing Xishan Trial Forest Farm operation programs of study, the following conclusions:(1) Beijing Xishan Trial Forest Farm with a total area of 5949.1 hectares, total forests accumulation amounts to 283978.1m3, the forest coverage rate reach to 93.20% and the total forest cover is 98.91%. Xishan Forest Farm now has a reasonable tree’s basic structure, forest ecological energy is relatively high, with the continuous adjustment of stand density,the forests of natural regeneration is developing towards the business close to nature. At the same time, the higher biodiversity increase the resistance of forest ecological system, the reasonable mixed configuration improved the stability of forest ecosystem, the forest ecological benefits has made full play.(2) In the end of this term, we will build high-quality healthy forest with a reasonable mixed forest structure, which has rich diversity in tree species and graceful landscape and also has a stable ecological system. Woodland forest resources basic keep 5949.1 hectares, the forest coverage rate reached 94.0%, 99.0% of trees covered at the same time, strengthen the whole pest monitoring and control, make the forest area of forest pest control under 1‰ of the total area(3) This research through to forest farm field trips, visiting survey and comprehensive consideration of other factors, according to the order of the development of forest farms and tending operational difficulty, preliminary forest farm of forest management division can be divided into intensive areas (204.5 hectares), landscape change area (1030.0 hectares), forest tending area (1810.0 hectares), forest conservation area (1772.7 hectares) and forest protection area (1131.9 hectares).(4) The manager period is given priority to with "management district and tree species," the basic principles of management types of classification, the classification results for the intensive management (186.7 hectares), landscape reconstruction operation (983.1 hectares),special operation (49.2 hectares), special protection management (15.5 hectares), inefficient transformation (2822.5 hectares), close to nature management (1302.2 hectares) and forest tending (239.6 hectares).(5) The manager period is expected to carry out a series of forest protection facilities, including forest fire (personnel and infrastructure), the forestry harmful biological control (monitoring system construction and biological control research), forest resource management training and construction of information management system (series) and forest tourism safety measures, etc., is expected to greatly improve the Xishan built high forest farm of forest ecological benefits and social service function.
