Early Selection Of Superior Families With High Drought-resistance In Nitraria Tangutorum Based On The Analysis Of Physiological Indices

Abstract/Summary:
In order to select superior family for drought resistance of Nitraria tangutorum.Provenance experiment on 31 families of 3 years-old N.tangutorum was carried out to investigate the contents of Peroxidase,Superoxide dismutase,Soluble protein,Soluble sugar,Proline,Chlorophyll and Fluorescence parameters in Wuwei and Lanzhou city of Gansu province,principal component analysis and subordinate function method were both used in this study.which provided scientific basis to breeding and popularize of the drought resistant material.The result showed the following six points:1)Seventh drought resistance indexes including peroxidase,Superoxide dismutase,Soluble protein,Soluble sugar,Proline,chlorophyll,Original fluorescence,Maximum fluorescence,Variable fluorescence,Maximum photochemical quantum yield of PSII,The potential activity of PS II.Effective photochemical quantum yield of PS II,Non Photochemical and Quenching Photochemical Quenching had great differences among 31 N.tangutorum families,which can be used as indexes for the early selection of N.tangutorum families;2)Variable of coefficient of Non Photochemical Quenching varied most,followed by Peroxidase and Superoxide dismutase,which were the most sensitive physiological indexes to react the physiological status of families.Later,they should be the highest degree of concern in the breeding of drought-resistant varieties;3)Superior families of N.tangutorum were selected by single index which was not identical,and It was are too one-sided or unrepresentative to evaluate drought resistance of N.tangutorum by using single index;4)Under the analysis of enzymatic activity,osmotic adjustment substances and chlorophyll content of N.tangutorum leaves,Adopting synthesis evaluation method selected the superior family for drought resistance,were jin ta j3-8 and j3-9,Sha Jin zi w3-12 and w3-15 family and cao yan zi jc-8.Between the principal component analysis method and random membership function method,any of these two method could objectively evaluate the degree of plant drought resistance;5)In the analysis of chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of 31 N.tangutorum families,jin ta j3-9,Sha Jin zi w3-12 and w3-15,cao yan zi jc-8 and xiao ba kou w2-20 were in turn selected as the superior families that was drought-resistance;6)The synthesis of 17 indexes selected the superior family for drought resistance,were jin ta j3-8 and j3-9,Sha Jin zi w3-12 and w3-15 and cao yan zi jc-8.and Sha Jin zi w3-15 family in Minqin and cao yan zi jc-8 family in Jiuquan performed best in drought resistance.The selection rate is 16.1%;...
