The seeds of Reaumuria Soongorica were collected from Gansu, Ningxia and Inner Mongolia where the natural distribution area of Reaumuria Soongorica and then establishing provenance test in Wuwei forestry technical service center. 77 families of 3a Reaumuria soongorica that grow well and free from diseases and insect pests were chosen as the research subjects of the study.6 single plants of each family were chosen to ascertain the drought indexes in each family, including photosynthetic parameters, fluorescence parameters and metabolic products.And then, Superior families that drought-resistance were selected by comprehensive evaluation method, which provided scientific basis to breeding and popularize of the drought resistant material.The result showed the following six points:1) Sixteen drought resistance indexes including soluble protein, soluble sugar, proline, chlorophyll, initial fluorescence, maximum fluorescence, variable fluorescence, photochemical efficiency of PS II, potential activity of PS II, non photochemical quenching of light, photochemical quenching coefficient, light saturation point, light compensation point, maximum net photosynthetic rate, dark respiration rate and apparent quantum efficiency had great differences among 77 Reaumuria soongorica families, which created a favorable condition for the early selection of Reaumuria soongorica families;2) Under the analysis of osmotic adjustment substances and chlorophyll content of Reaumuria soongorica leaves, The coincidence rate of drought resistant families reached 80% by the principal component analysis and membership function method, They were HSW-1(Haishiwan-1), ZZG1-1(Zhazigou1-1), ZZG1-2(Zhazi gou1-2), ZZG2-3(Zhazigou2-3), ZZG2-4(Zhazigou2-4), XGG-3(Xiaogangou-3), LZ-1(Linze-1), HSZ-3(Heishanzhen), JQGZ-1(Jiuquanguazhou-1), JQGZ-2(Jiuquan guazhou-2), WD-1(Wuda-1), Between the principal component analysis method and random membership function method, any of these two method could objectively evaluate the degree of plant drought resistance;3) In the analysis of chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of 77 Reaumuria soongorica families, QYS-2(Quanyanshan-2), WD-1(Wuda-1), ZZG1-1(Zhazi gou1-1), ZZG1-2(Zhazigou1-2), HSW-1(Haishiwan-1), LZ-1(Linze-1), JQGZ-2(Jiuquanguazhou-2), JQGZ-1(Jiuquanguazhou-1), ZZG2-4(Zhazigou2-4), BYHT-4(Bayanhaote-4), ZZG2-3(Zhazigou2-3), WD-2(Wuda-2), SSC-1(Shashichang-1), XGG-3(Xiaogangou-3), HSZ-3(Heishanzhen-3) were in turn rated as drought resistance and superior families.4) In the study of the photosynthetic characteristics of 77 Reaumuria soongorica families, HSW-1(Haishiwan-1),ZZG1-2(Zhazigou1-2), ZZG1-1(Zhazi gou1-1), JQGZ-1(Jiuquanguazhou-1), WD-1(Wuda-1), XGG-3(Xiaogangou-3), JQGZ-2(Jiuquanguazhou-2), QYS-1(Quanyanshan-1), LZ-1(Linze-1), ZZG2-4(Zha zigou2-4), HSZ-3(Heishanzhen-3), HSW-2(Haishiwan-2), LZ-3(Linze-3), ZZG2-3(Zhazigou2-3), LZ-2(Linze-2) were in turn selected as the superior families that was drought-resistance;5) Although the sort of drought resistance were not completely consistent under the different drought resistance evaluation methods of Reaumuria soongorica families, the results that drought resistance families were selected was basically the same, There were 11 families that commonly in each selection method was selected out as the drought-resistance and superior families, they were HSW-1(Haishiwan-1), ZZG1-1(Zhazigou1-1), ZZG1-2(Zhazigou1-2), ZZG2-3(Zhazigou2-3), ZZG2-4(Zha zigou2-4), XGG-3(Xiaogangou-3), LZ-1(Linze-1), HSZ-3(Heishanzhen-3), JQGZ-1(Jiuquanguazhou-1), JQGZ-2(Jiuquanguazhou-2), WD-1(Wuda-1), The selection rate is 14.3%;6) Photosynthetic parameters such as chlorophyll content, light saturation point, light compensation point and maximum net photosynthetic rate, Fluorescence parameters such as q P, NPQ, Osmotic adjustment substances such as soluble sugar, soluble protein, proline, All these indexes could objectively evaluate the drought resistance of plants, which could be used as the index to research the stress resistance of plant and early selection of shrubs.
