With the further the theme of energy saving and emission reduction,and the introduction of agricultural equipment science and technology innovation policy,the research and development of electric tractor has become the focus of enterprises and universities.In the course of it,the data of the electric tractor in operation should be understood and analyzed timely to optimize the battery,motor and vehicle performance and promote to make innovation in electric tractor technology.The purpose of this paper was to develop a set of remote monitoring system for electric tractor with network programming,GPRS and CAN technology.The system can implement the functions of real-time monitoring,storing,analysing the operating parameters and fault information of electric tractor.The work of this paper is as follows:(1)Through the research of monitoring point and fault monitoring for tractors,functional requirements were anlysised.The overall architecture of system,composed of system terminal and monitoring center,was presented.The system was compsed of two parts,including the system terminal and the monitoring center: the terminal was used as the CAN node of the tractor,communicating with the controller of the electric tractor through the CAN bus,and implement the function of wireless communication with the monitoring center through the GPRS network.The network architecture of Internet dynamic IP and DDNS was adopted,after studying of the architecture.(2)The system terminal hardware took the microcontroller in built-in CAN controller module chip as its main chip and Sim900 A as its GPRS communication chip,which circuits design included the design of circuit of main control module and GPRS communication module.According to related norms and principles of GPRS and CAN communication as well as customized communication protocol,the relevant communication module and the on-and off-line data processing module was developped to implement the function of data transmission between two different protocols;in the on-line data processing,the multiple cache mechanism and the reasonable way of transmission was used to ensure efficient data transmission.(3)Based on the object-oriented,modular design idea and event-driven ways,and combined with network programming,multi-threading technology,ADO.NET,database,ProEssentials components and other technologies,the monitoring center software was desgined.Based upon the use case analysis,with gruadual expansion of interface design and various module design,it implemented the fuctions of real-time monitoring,communication management,historical data reuse and fault management.(4)The software of network data transmission performance was designed.With the network data transmission platform based on the software,the performance of data tranmission was analysed on the basic of the two indexes of network delay and packet loss rate.Furthermore,the system function test bench was built,and tested the functions of the system.The test results show that GPRS communication and network architecture adopted fully met the demand of system data transmission,all the system functions operated nomally,and the user interface was operated fluently without suspended animation phenomenon.
