| With the accelerated process of urbanization,the area of urban green space is gradually reduced and the environment is destroyed.People also want to pursue a healthier lifestyle.As a part of urban green space,plant-wall has been paid more and more attention.This paper takes the plant-walls in Guangzhou as the object of study and summarizes the development status of plant-wall in Guangzhou through field investigation,and then evaluates the landscape beauty of 18 plant-wall cases according to the survey results.As the same time,the author hopes to use the actual cases to propose the method and principle of design and construction of plant-wall.The main research results are as follows:1.Investigate 18 plant-wall cases in Guangzhou and summarize the use space of plant-wall,plant species,cultivation matrix,planting technique,irrigation system,composition form and later management and so on.First of all,there are 7 cases of indoor plant-wall and 11 cases of outdoor plant-wall.There are totally 45 kinds of plant species were used,involving 23 families and 41 genera,of which 29 species are herbaceous plants,and 16 species are woody plants.The frame structure is divided into 3 kinds,the most direct use of the fixed framework,a total of 11 cases,accounting for 61.1%.There are 4 kinds of planting technology,the most commonly used for planting is trough and modular,which accounting for 27.8% and 38.9% respectively.The cultivated substrate can be divided into 3 kinds: natural matrix,artificial substrate and mixed matrix.There are 50% of the plant-walls using a mixed matrix which consists mainly of peat,perlite,ceramsite and natural soil.The irrigation system is divided into 3 kinds,namely artificial irrigation,automatic irrigation and mixed irrigation.The most commonly used is automatic irrigation,which was achieved to 12 cases,reaching 66.7%.The form of plant-wall is divided into regular and natural forms,there are 8 plants walls using regular pattern,which account for 44.4%,and 10 plants wall using natural mapping,which account for 55.6%.2.Investigating the growth and performance of plants and comparing the change of plant height and crown width,and then obtaining the effect of Different Cultivation Substrates on the growth of plant is artificial substrate > mixed matrix > Natural matrix.The relation between the effect of plant growth and the effect of plant growth is the outdoor plant-wall > indoor plant-wall.In addition,the paper determines the physical properties of the common cultivated substrates.In the aspect of bulk density,the bulk density of natural soil is the highest,which is 1.04g/cm3,while the bulk density of perlite is the lowest,which is 0.1g/cm3.In the total porosity,the total porosity of coconut fiber is the highest,which is 84.7%,and the natural soil is lowest,which is 42.8%.3.By using the method of landscape beauty evaluation to evaluate the 18 plant-wall cases in Guangzhou.After analyzing these plant-walls,we can get the suggestion of plant-wall landscape design:(1)enrich plant-wall plant species and colors;(2)pay attention to the arrangement of plants;(3)increase decorative effect.4.Combining with the survey data and the evaluation results to study on the trough plant-wall,and then put forward the design principles and construction methods of plant-walls.Finally,analyzing the plant-wall cases about Guangzhou Huayuan garden company and Foshan Xinbao square,hoping to provide a complete set of implementation plan for the design and construction of future plant-walls. |
