This thesis reviewed the research situation of Notopterygium forbesii on geographical distribution,resource situation,artificial domestication and cultivation,chemical constituents,quality control and pharmacological properties,etc.Summarized the research achievements in Notopterygium forbesii,found that there was a lack of systemic research of artificial domestication and cultivation,promotion of medicinal materials quality and pretreatment of Notopterygium forbesii.In view of the research insufficiency,a systemic research was proposed for medicinal materials quality of domesticated Notopterygium forbesii,the optimal of growing period duration,suitable area for planting,relationship between medicinal materials quality and ecological factors,pretreatment methods and conditions of medicinal materials.The root system of wild,plants growed for two years and three years of cultivated Notopterygium forbesii were sampled as materials from growth areas within Gansu province(Dingxi,Longnan,Gannan).And biomass(root fresh weight,root dry weight,taproot length,taproot thick),content of main bioactive compounds(notopterol,isoimperatorin,volatile oil,alcohol extract,polysaccharide,total ash,acid-insoluble ash)were measured.As the index to evaluate the quality of Notopterygium forbesii including wild and cultivated,plants growed for two years and three years,plants growed for two years in different areas and processed by different drying methods were investigated.Meanwhile,by taking soil samples,the data of 16 soil factors were analyzed,including organic matter,total nitrogen,total phosphorus,available phosphorus,available potassium,volume weight,pH,cosmid,silt,grit.Then the relationship of chemical compounds and ecological factors were analyzed by Pearson Correlation and Redundancy Analysis(RDA).The major results as followings:(1)By contrasting the yield and quality of wild and cultivated Notopterygium forbesii,the yield and main bioactive compounds contents of cultivated were significantly higher than wild,the quality of cultivated was better.(2)By contrasting the yield and quality of plants growed for two years in different areas,the yield of cultivated Notopterygium forbesii was higher,the relative content of active material in unit weight sample was higher,the overall quality was better of Maying,Luba,Chenlengkan and Ganbuta,the Longnan region,Gannan plateau were ideal location for the extension of cultivated Notopterygium forbesii.(3)The relationship were analyzed between quality and ecological factors of cultivated Notopterygium forbesii,the ecological factors including organic matter,total nitrogen,available phosphorus,available potassium,bulk density,pH,altitude,temperature were primary factors influencing chemical compounds accumulation in Notopterygium forbesii.Fertilizer rate and ratio,reasonable location should be paid attention during the extension of cultivated Notopterygium forbesii.(4)By investigating the change in yield,quality and economic benefits of plants growed between two and three years,it was found that weight of fresh root,dried root,taproot length,taproot diameter of samples growed for three years were increased respectively by 112.20%,101.78%,27.00%,18.35% than growed compared with that for two years.The content of notopterol,isoimperatorin,volatile oil,alcohol extract,polysaccharide of samples growed for three years were increased respectively by 128.11%?93.48%?73.42%?103.16%?79.49% compared with that for two years.The profits of growed for three years were higher by 45.49% than that of cultivated for two years.(5)By contrasting the quality change of plants processed by different drying methods,the main active substance contents of samples were higher,which processed by drying in the shade,60 ? hot drying,which were the better drying methods for Notopterygium forbesii fresh samples.60 ? hot drying should be adopted when large volume fresh samples would be processed.
