Abstract/Summary:
Taking Shendao 47,Shendao 505 and hybrid rice Jingyou 586 as entries,the experiment were carried out in Shenyang Agricultural University in 2016 to study the effect of combination of bowl and transplanting hill distance on seedling quality,population building,photosynthetic character,and yield formation of rice.Four treatments were set up including W1(Flat pot + transplanting density 30cm×20cm),W2(434-hole pot+30cm×20cm),W3(288-hole pot+30cm×30cm),and W4(128 hole-pot+30cm×60cm).,photosynthesis and quality traits were analyzed.The purpose of the experiment is to provide a high-yielding combination or combinations for rice production.The main results are as follows:1.The difference of seedling qualities among rice cultivars under same seedling nurturing condition was not significant;however,there existed significant differences in seedling quality in the same cultivar with different pot.For the same cultivar,the order of the root length,100-seedling shoot dry weight and root/shoot ratio was W4>W3>W2>W1.Therefore,the treatment W3 was able to reduce seedling height effectively,promote sturdy seedling growth,develop root system,and increase the stress resistance of rice seedling.2.For the population building,the order of tiller number was W4>W3>W2>W1.The seedling raised with hole-pot revived fast after transplanting and the early generated seedling could develop enough effective panicles.For the same cultivar,the apparent transfer amounts of leaves and stems were W4>W3>W2>W1,indicating that there is a great relationship between the amount of dry matter translocation with seedling and transplanting density,the more density was,the more the amount of dry matter transfer of these organs.3.For the photosynthesis,the chlorophyll content of three rice cultivars under W4 was significantly higher than that of other seedling raising methods,confirming the larger hole-pot was able to promote seedling quality,revive quickly after transplanting,and give full play to the characteristics of population regulation ability.Hybrid rice varieties Jingyou 586 in leaf area of each period was significantly higher than the two conventional rice varieties;for the same varieties of rice,with the decrease in pot hole number,increasing transplanting density,leaf area is also increasing.For the three rice varieties,the minimum bottom and top light intensity gap under W4,canopy radioactive transfer rate maximum,indicating that light the group of the highest utilization rate,the variety characteristics of hybrid rice Jingyou 586 under W4 and W3,transplanting at the bottom of the light compared with other two kinds of seedling difference reached very significant level.For ordinary varieties Shendao 47 and Jingyou586,stomatal conductance decreased with the bowl hole number gradually increased,intercellular CO2 concentration decreased,transpiration rate and net photosynthetic rate were decreased with the increasing number of holes,this also means that the use of pot seedling,pot hole number is the size of the corresponding hole spacing of larger,stronger photosynthesis.4.For the agronomic traits and yield,the panicle length of hybrid rice Jingyou 586 was longer than that of conventional rice cultivars Shendao 505 and Shendao 47.For the same cultivar,the panicle length in different seedling ways showed W1>W4>W2>W3,the effective panicle numbers of same cultivar among different seedling treatments were significantly different,less the seedling hole number,and wider the transplanting hill distance,the less effective panicles per unit area.The trend of 1000 grain weight of rice seedling is W3>W1>W2>W4,indicating that the spacing in certain circumstances,increase the density may be due to enhanced nutrient competition between individual plants during grain filling period due to the grain size,grain weight drop.The actual yield of hybrid rice Jingyou 586 was significantly higher than that of two conventional rice varieties.The yield of the two conventional cultivars under W3 was higher than other treatments,and the yield hybrid rice Jingyou 586 was higher than other two conventional rice varieties.The yields of Shendao 47 and Shendao 505 under W3 were higher than those of the other treatments.
