| With the development of science and technology and social economy,and the growing of population of the world,the demand for ecosystem services is further increased.A series of studies aimed at coordinating natural ecosystems and human socioeconomic activities have been carried out.Cultural ecosystem services,an important part of ecosystem services,however,attract less attention by the theorists.This study is based on the field investigation about cultural ecosystem services,social and economic aspects of 139 households in Xilinhot,Inner Mongolia from 2014 to 2016.The current situation of grassland culture ecosystem services from the view of traditional mongolian grassland cultural characteristics in this region is addressed by combing qualitative and quantitative methods under the support of cultural ecosystem service theory.The results provide scientific basis for promoting the inheritance and protection of traditional mongolian grassland culture.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)This study established the indicators system of grassland ecosystem culture service based on combining the theory of cultural ecosystem services and the traditional Mongolian grassland cultural characteristics,and carried out in Xilinhot.(2)The traditional mongolian grassland culture in Xilinhot has been better maintained,but the religious and spiritual and traditional recreational activities and inspiration services aspects still facing serious degradation.(3)There are high correlation between "Education and knowledge system" and"Sense of place,cultural heritage and diversity" services,and between "Education and knowledge system" and "Religious and spiritual" services,and between "Religious and spiritual" and "Cultural heritage and diversity" services through quantitative analysis.(4)All levels of governments in the development of relevant policies,should strengthen concern of the ecological services in the non-material aspects,on the one hand in the exploration and utilization of ecological resources,should consider the protection of the sacred place of religion;on the other hand,encourage regularly held"Naadam" and activities which contribute to the heritage of traditional entertainment,cultural and artistic. |
