Salinized soil was bad for planting because of its high salt levels, alkalinity, low organic matter content and bad physical characteristics. It was widely distributed in our country and expanding, and hard to be improved. Nowadays, with growing of industrial production, it was becoming a hot topic that using industrial waste to improve salinized soil. Vinegar lees was the coproduct of vinegar industry, it was acidic, loosened and full of organic material; fly ash was the coproduct of fossil-fuel power station, it was full of mineral elements. Both vinegar less and fly ash were large amount abandoned every year, not only leading to wasting but also polluting the environment. This study was taken to test the improving effects of vinegar lees and vinegar lees+fly ash on salinized soil to provide evidence and reference data for the using of vinegar lees and fly ash.The test screed for optimal proportions of Vinegar lees and fly ash in salinized soil through seeding cultivation experiment, and compared the improving effects of different ameliorants for salinized soil through greenhouse bucket test, which take salinized soil as empty map, and vinegar lees, vinegar lees+ fly ash, cow dung and turf as treatment groups. It measured physical and chemical properties of treated soil, and plants growing conditions. It was concluded that:?1? Comparing the subordinate function values of emergence, leaf area, length, dry weight, K+/Na+ and chlorophyll of sorghum seeding, both of the optimal proportions of vinegar lees and fly ash in salinized soil were 10%.?2? Comparing the subordinate function values of bulk density, total porosity and water retained porosity of 4 kinds of treated salinized soil, the sort of physical characteristics effects of 4 kinds of ameliorants is:vinegar lees> turf> vinegar lees+fly ash> cow dung> CK.All of the 4 kinds of ameliorants have improved available nutrients of soda salinized soil, the sort of available N is cow dung> vinegar lees> turf> vinegar lees+fly ash> CK; the sort of available P is cow dung> vinegar lees> vinegar lees+fly ash> turf> CK; the sort of available K is vinegar lees> vinegar lees+fly ash> turf> cow dung> CK.By compared the subordinate function values of Ph, CEC, exchangeable Na+, ESP, water soluble salt, Mg2+, Ca2+, ?CO3?2- and ?HCO3?-, the sort of saline-alkali traits characterization effects of 4 kinds of ameliorants is vinegar lees> vinegar lees+fly ash> cow dung> turf> CK.By compared the subordinate function values of length, stem diameter, number of leaves, picker length, thousand kernel weight, total dry plant weight and dry root weight of sorghum, the sort of sorghum growth and yield effects of 4 kinds of ameliorants is cow dung> vinegar lees+fly ash> turf> vinegar lees> CK.In conclusion, both vinegar lees and vinegar lees+fly ash can improve soda salinized soil, but vinegar lees and vinegar lees+fly ash had both advantages and disadvantages on soda saline soil improvement effect than cow dung or turf. It was more effective than cow dung and turf on physical characteristics, available K and saline-alkali traits characterization effects; vinegar lees+fly ash was the most effective than other ameliorants on saline-alkali traits characterization effects, and had average effects on physical characteristics and available nutrients,but they had less available P and available N, and sorghum were looks like poor.
