Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Higher Vocational Students’ Internship

The document "Opinions on the Improvement of Teaching Quality of Higher Vocational Education" by The Ministry of Education,([2006]No.16)required:The objective of higher vocational education is to train highly skilled personnel for the production,construction,services and management field.The internship is a very important and effective way to train highly skilled professionals.Vocational education highlighting students’ employment ability is effective form and important way,therefore,practice is an important part of the practical teaching system of higher vocational colleges.Under the actual practice environment related to jobs,students can use theoretical knowledge learned in classrooms to analyze and solve the actual work problems,thus increasing the overall quality of their professional and grasping professional knowledge and skills beyond the classroom.On the other hand,exposed to real social environment beyond the ivory tower,students work hard and learn the pragmatic spirit of unity and cooperation,which enhance the overall quality of students.At the same time,internship which can be regarded as a student’s "combat exercises" from the campus to the community lay a good foundation for the realization of all aspects of successful employment and greatly enhance the students’employability.In recent years,various types of vocational colleges have explored a lot of useful internships organizational models and management mechanisms and achieved some success,but there are still such problems concerned internships specific organization and implementation process,which can not achieve the effective goal.How to build an effective management mechanism and strategies&strengthen the actual effect of internships is an urgent issue need to solving,which can lead to the improvement of the overall quality of personnel training in vocational collegesUsing the questionnaires,literature,interviews and other research methods,the case study of student internships management of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine major in TS Vocational and Technical college focus on currently existing internships problems and issue and analyzes the mains causes.From the perspective of higher vocational colleges and business enterprise and college students,the essay put forward 11 measures based on animal husbandry and veterinary major students’experience in order to provide a useful reference to enhance the effectiveness of internships.
